So What Exactly Is A Vibrational Escrow Account?

As most of you know I am a big fan of Abraham-Hicks. I have studied many different teachers over the years, but I have never found one that speaks as clearly or resonates so strongly to me at my current spiritual level.

One of the concepts they mention often is the concept of each of us having a Vibrational Escrow Account.

Basically a Vibrational Escrow Account is the place where all of our dreams and desires go the minute we birth them in our minds, waiting for us to access them when we meet up with those desires on the same vibrational level.

In other words, say your desire is for a new car. The minute you have and state that desire Universe goes to work setting up the circumstances that can bring you that new car. However then let's say your next statement is "but I can't afford a new car." This is telling Universe that while you do want that car you are just not at the correct vibrational level to bring it into your experience at this moment.

So the Universe in effect puts the new car in a "Vibrational Escrow Account" while it waits for you to vibrate high enough to be a match for it.

So the "car" doesn't go away when you have the negative thought - it basically sits there waiting for you to be at a matching level to claim it.

You see, the Universe never says no to any of your desires. It does not care what you are asking for or who is doing the asking. It is totally neutral and unbiased. Only our "ego selves" convince us that we are not worthy. We are all worthy in Universe's eyes. It is our ego selves that convince us that we have to jump through hoops to deserve something.

So let's get back to the car. You have asked for it and now it sits in your Account.

So how do you gain access to it in your physical world? You need to become a vibrational match to it.

The first thing you need to do is believe that you are entitled to it. After all why wouldn't you be entitled to something as simple as a car? When the negative thoughts try to pop up about it being too expensive etc. remind yourself that that is not your problem. Universe is taking care of that part.

Then you start to visualize owning it. You imagine sitting in it and appreciating it. You imagine its color, the smell when you get inside, the smooth way it runs. You imagine hand washing it, putting gas in it, driving others around in it and simply loving every inch of it.

You see this NOW puts you at the same vibrational level to be able to attract it easily and gives Universe a vibrational level it can deliver on.

If you have any negative thoughts that seem to "push it away" simply take out those thoughts and examine them.

Write them down and then seriously question what your doubts are and where they came from. For instance:

1. Well I can't just attract a new car… Ask yourself why not? It's only a car
2. Well "everyone" knows it can take years to save up for one… Who says? People manifest them everyday. They are given to them as gifts, they win them as prizes. Of coarse I can receive one just as easily.
3. I don’t even know how to begin to manifest one. Again, not your problem. Universe will take care of that, you simply need to control your vibration around it.
4. My parents went their whole lives without actually owning a brand new car. And this has what to do with me exactly?
5. Well how can a car just simply show up in my life? Again, not your problem. Universe is the most powerful force in the universe. You think it can't handle something as simple as delivering a car?

Go through your doubts. Get them out in the open. Analyze them, change your mind about them. Then if the negatives try to come through replace them with your new common sense answers - not the old tired ones that were buried under old emotions and doubts.

Do you want to have some fun? Every once in awhile go take a "peek" into your Escrow Account and see what is waiting for you to match up with this month.

I used to love the story of Aladdin when I was a kid. The idea of the genie in the lamp, etc..

So it is no surprise to me that mentally my Vibarational Escrow Account looks like a huge cave filled with tons and tons of riches. I imagine that it is covered by this thick velvet purple curtain that I pull aside every once in awhile to take a peek and inside that cave I see stacks and stacks of money piled on top of pallets. I see my new champagne colored Escalade, I see my best selling books and super successful internet business.

I visually see all of it just sitting there waiting for me - nice, shiny and sparkling - just waiting for me to be a match for them. And they will never go away. As more desires come about, more items simply get put in the cave waiting for me to claim them.

Maybe you picture yours as a bank vault that only you have the combination to. So go take a "peek".

Decide which "thing" you would like to claim today. The new job, the new house, the new car, the new relationship, stacks of money. Get all of your doubts out of the way regarding them and start vibrating on the level you need to be to attract them to you.

Then take a step back and watch Universe do its thing and deliver it in ways you never even expected.

Abraham-Hicks Snippets #2 - Vibrational Escrow

The following is a question and answer session from an Abraham-Hicks tape.

I was thinking about writing a post about the vibrational escrow accounts we all have and of coarse just happened upon this snippet. (I love when that happens.) I will probably write more on the idea of vibrational escrow accounts tomorrow. (I will be out most of the day taking care of a few errands.) So in the meantime I hope you enjoy this Abraham-Hicks snippet as well.

Q: I had a very lucid dream once where I was in a forest... and it felt like this moment now, just as real. And somehow I felt that I would go deeper into the dream and forget that this current experience ever existed. And I was afraid of that movement, and so I woke myself back up. But when I awoke, it made me contemplate what this right now is and if perhaps I could be really dreaming this and have forgotten that this is a dream.

Abe: Well, from our perspective you are dreaming this. In other words, the reality that is really real is the broader, nonphysical part of you. Everything is perceptual -- in other words, the only reason that this reality looks and feels and smells and tastes and sounds so real is because you have vibrational interpreters that interpret the energy. So in your dream state, at another level of consciousness, you are interpreting the energy and having a different experience.

We don't want you to ever worry about the realness of that which is here, but we don't want the realness of that which is here to limit you and make you think that that's all that is real. In other words, in this world that you call physical, that is occupied by a few billion human ones, [are] as many worlds as are perceivers of it. In other words, what is real is as you perceive it to be.

A dream is your re-emergence into nonphysical, achieving vibrational alignment with who you are then, and then as you come back into your [waking] state, the entire dream actually takes place as that which you know from nonphysical is translated back into a physical equivalent that you can make sense of. Dreams don't happen all night long -- we don't care what their meters are telling you. The dream is downloaded almost instantaneously as you are coming back into conscious awareness.

An out-of-body experience varies from a dream in this way: when you find vibrational alignment with who you really are, you can catch a glimpse of whatever your Inner Being is glimpsing at. So sometimes an out-of-body experience will show you another world, sometimes it will show you this world -- but what an out-of-body experience is, is you perceiving through the uncluttered eyes of who you really are. And we would say that this dream that you are describing was more of an out-of-body experience than it was a dream. But [it's] hard to tell the difference because from your human perspective it was different from this reality.

You are right, you are so much more than the one who is focused here in this physical body. But you came here with great and powerful intent to be here, and there is no place you would rather be -- that is our promise to you. And so while sometimes you do take escape in other thoughts, in other realms, in other dimensions, you are fulfilling your reason for being here, and this is where the whole of you wants to be focused.

Good.

Here is another idea from Abraham-Hicks about an intention you can make for yourself. It is from 5/1/04 tape of a conference that was held in Washington, DC.

Abe: Make a decision to have an out-of-body experience where your Inner Being gives you a glimpse of your Vibrational Escrow. We think it would be good for all of you. We think it would be really good for you to get a glimpse of your Vibrational Escrow because when you get a glimpse of it, before you can see it, you have to feel worthy of it. In other words, you can't see it until you feel worthy of it even in your dreamscapes.

Make that an intention. Start writing this down -- `Inner Being, in my dream state, in my out-of-body excursions, I want a glimpse of my Vibrational Escrow' which means I want to work my way into a place of such worthiness that I have full view of it. And as you let that be a vibrational challenge or goal, and as you begin to accomplish it more and more in your dreamscape, then you'll begin to see it filling-in in your life experience.

Using The Law of Attraction To Get A Better Nights Sleep

Are you having a hard time falling or staying asleep at night? If so, using the Law of Attraction can help you immensely. Now I'm going to need you to bear with me for a few moments as we quickly run through some obvious physical reasons that you might be having a problem. After all, if it is a quick and easy fix, we might as well give them a shot, right?

Beware of sneaky stimulants. While most of us are aware of the caffeine products we should avoid before going to sleep, quite often we overlook some of the less obvious items that can affect our sleep without even realizing it.

For instance, there is the obvious coffee or soda, but did you know that chocolate, cake, ice cream and certain cookies have enough sugar in them to affect your sleep as well? There are even some fruits that have enough natural sugar in them that can also keep you awake.

If you are having a harder time falling asleep than usual - review what you have been eating before going to bed lately. If you have been on an ice cream or cookie kick for the last few weeks before bed and have been having trouble sleeping for the same amount of time, there could be your simple connection.

Drinking Alcohol - So you are going through a particularly rough time and might enjoy a few drinks when you come home at night. But then you don't sleep very well. So the next day you are even crankier and enjoy another few drinks when you get home to try to make yourself feel better. But then you don't sleep very well again. It seems like a vicious circle but the truth is - it could be the alcohol itself that is causing your sleep deprivation.

It has been discovered that while alcohol might help you fall asleep initially, it appears to disrupt the second half of your sleep cycle. So you will wake during the night with all sorts of weird dreams or you toss and turn and have a hard time getting back to sleep again.

Think about trying a different soothing ritual before bedtime if it is that "calming" effect you seek. Switch to a decaffeinated herbal tea and a couple of sugarfree cookies. When you consume them before bed think of that as your way of unwinding at the end of a hectic day. You will see an amazing difference in not only your quantity but quality of sleep.

Exercise. You have probably heard this before but exercising even a couple of hours before bedtime can sometimes affect your falling asleep. Your blood is pumping, the energy is flowing - is it any wonder your body might have a hard time slowing itself down? You should even beware of certain kinds of yoga. While some practices are great for winding down, some might have the opposite affect.

O.K. - now that we have gotten some of the possible physical causes out of the way let's work on the mental.

Do not label yourself as having any kind of sleeping problem. You would be amazed at how what could be just a temporary problem could last a lot longer by how you think or label it. Do not think or say things like "I just can't sleep, I have insomnia, I suffer from insomnia, I constantly wake up, I never get enough sleep, I am always tired etc." By putting these kinds of thoughts and statements out there you are just attracting more of it. Do not give the situation more attention or worry than it deserves. It is simply temporary - do not make it a fact by bringing more attention to the problem.

Not falling asleep because you are worried about not falling asleep. We have all been there. You only have a few hours to sleep and when you can't fall asleep you become worried about how much time you have left to sleep and on and on it goes.

While it is true that the average person usually requires 7 to 8 hours of sleep at night it is by no means true for everyone. For instance, Donald Trump only sleeps 4 hours a night and that is more than enough for him. Another fact to consider is that you don't need to have a full 8 hours of sleep every night. I have had nights when I only had 2 or 3 hours of sleep the night before and ran around the next day with more energy than usual. The trick is to not mentally brainwash yourself into thinking that "you are going to have to be tired" the next day simply because you didn't get your full 8 hours.

Your body changes every day. So does your energy levels. Some days you may need more sleep - some days you might need less. It's like when you are hungry. Some days you can be hungry all day long - some days you barely think about food. Just go with the flow. Don't psyche yourself out mentally by thinking "Oh I only got 3 hours of sleep last night so it means I'll be dragging my tail all day" Who says? Don't give it any thought and just focus on doing your thing.

Calming the Panic Thoughts. One of the trickier problems to deal with. You either can't fall asleep because a problem is on your mind or you wake up in the middle of the night in a panic when a thought occurs to you. The first question to ask yourself is there anything you can do about it at that exact moment. Usually there isn't much you can do about any problem at 3:00 in the morning. If this is the case - tell yourself you will find a way to deal with it tomorrow or better yet, hand it over to the Universe to handle. Say to yourself "While I am doing my job of getting some sleep, Universe is doing its job of finding me an easy solution to this problem. I can't wait till tomorrow to see what it comes up with." You will be surprised how often a solution will present itself the next day. Just leave yourself open to the possibility.

Find at least one good thought to soothe yourself with in the middle of the night and focus on that thought when panic tries to set in. The Law of Attraction is all about taking control over your thoughts. The more you practice it, the better you get. You really do have control over what you think about. So if a panic thought tries to let itself in at the middle of the night - counteract it. Think about even one good thing you experienced the day before or plan on experiencing. Did you stick to your diet that day, get a compliment from your boss, get a call from that person you have a crush on? Did you meditate, take your vitamins, do you have something coming up that you are looking forward to? When a panic thought tries to worm it's way in, deliberately and consciously replace it with a better thought even if it is totally unrelated. It might seem difficult at first - but you really will get better at it with practice. If your thoughts keep trying to drift to the problem, keep bringing your thoughts back to the good thought. Again and again until it sticks.

Become bigger than the problem. You are currently on a spiritual quest. (I know this simply because you are reading this article.) Every day you are growing spiritually and every day you are gaining more control over your reality. Do not let yourself forget this. As you lay there in bed at night imagine that you are holding the Earth as a little globe in your hand and now sense your immenseness in comparison to it. This is how big you really are. You are a spiritual being having a human experience which means there is truly nothing on this planet that you cannot handle. In reality you are so much bigger than all of it. Truly feel your immenseness in relation to the problem and realize that in "reality" that problem is nothing more than a speck of dust you can simply blow away. This is a great mental exercise.

Do the muscle relaxation exercise. This is an awesome exercise you may have learned in gym class. It is simple, but can be very effective in getting yourself to sleep or back to sleep.

Start by lying flat on your back. Tense your feet as tightly as you can to a count of 8 then gently release the muscles also to a count of 8. Then feel as if your feet have simply "disappeared" into oblivion. Next do your calves. Tense, tense, tense as you count to 8, release, release, release as you count to 8 - until you feel them completely disappear. Then move up to your thighs, your butt, your stomach, your chest, arms, hands etc. Do this for your entire body. By the time you are done, you will feel as if you are floating or as if your body has completely disappeared. Now the only thing you will sense is your deep breathing. This exercise can work wonders for both your body and your mind. You will find it even works really well if you've had a nightmare, so give it a try.

Use affirmations or read something uplifting before even putting your head on the pillow. You can experience far more spiritual growth in your sleep than you ever can during your waking hours. For years I have purposely said affirmations or read particular spiritual concepts that I have wanted to absorb subconsciously and have found how much easier the ideas stick when I absorb them right before bedtime. So not only can this help distract you from your normal worries but it in fact also expedites your spiritual growth.

The most important thing to remember is do not make it a bigger issue of not sleeping than it is. Everyone experiences difficulty sleeping once in awhile - but it does not have to be pure torture. Be creative, if you find that no matter what you do you still can not sleep - then simply stop trying to force yourself. Get out of bed and use the time to do something useful or inspiring. Go write a grateful list, go add to your vision board - simply do something that makes you feel better.

Heck if you are not going to sleep anyway, might as well do something that inspires you!

Keep this up and you will be back to your normal sleeping patterns in no time.

Is Your Life Like The Truman Show?

I have always enjoyed the movie The Truman Show. First of all, because Jim Carrey just really cracks me up. The scene in the bathroom when he is pretending to be a spaceman by using a bar of soap on the mirror is a classic.

But I also love some of the more serious messages behind it. Here is a man who somehow "knows" there is something more out there. That the monotonous life he is living day in and day out just isn't cutting it anymore. And at first it seems that no matter what he tries he can't seem to break free. Someone or something continually seems to thwart him, trying to drag him back to his old ways -- immediate traffic jams to keep him from leaving the town, friends trying to tell him his life is fine the way it is -- but he knows better. He knows there has to be more, and he is determined to find his way out.

So how about you? Does it seem to sometimes that your life is like The Truman Show? Do you live the same thing day in and day out with the same comfortable cast of characters? Pretty much existing on the same "sets" day after day? Never making the "trip" over that bridge or across that ocean?

One of my favorite parts of the movie is at the end when Truman's boat finally hits the "wall" of the set. When you feel both fear and excitement for him wondering what he is going to find on the other side of that wall.

When the entire world is cheering him on as they watch him find the hidden staircase and the hidden door that is going to lead to his new life.

Will he do it? Will he take the final step out? We realize how scared he must be. How terrified. But we also know the wonders he is going to find on the other side. The love of his life… the adventures he has always sought…most of all, his freedom!.

Then comes the voice of the "director" (like an ego perhaps?). The one that tries to scare him into turning back. The voice that tells him he is safe right where he is. That he doesn't know what's out there, that if continues to stays in that "safe little world" he won't ever have to worry.

Do you remember feeling as if you wanted to punch that "director" in the head?
Tell him to shut up already! Do you remember knowing that the only reason the director wanted Truman to stay behind was for his own selfish reasons? That he only wanted him to stay behind so he could maintain control over Truman's life? (Sound strangely like an ego again?)

So how about you? Do you have that same eerie voice trying to tell you the same thing? Stay behind where you are nice and safe? That's its scary "out there" stay here where you are comfortable, even if you are unhappy? Can you see with some clarity that your ego is acting the same way as that director? That it is saying these things to you for its own selfish reasons? Simply because it wants to maintain control over your life?

If so, then it is time to be like Truman. It is time to ignore that voice and walk out that door anyway. It is time to quit daydreaming your whole life away and to start taking some real actions towards your goals. It is time to get into that boat even though you have always been afraid of the water because it is the only way you are going to find that hidden door. The door that contains the life that you have always wished for on the other side.

If it makes you feel better, imagine that you too have an entire world audience cheering you on.

Even though it might be a little scary there is something so wonderful on the others side that it will be completely worth it!

Law of Attraction: The Two Most Important Things My Father Ever Taught Me

There are two things my father taught me growing up that I will be forever grateful for. And while neither of them had anything to do with The Law of Attraction directly, both pieces of advice helped me immensely in my spiritual growth.

You see my father didn't believe in the Law of Attraction. He believed that the people who succeeded in life definitely had to have the drive to succeed, but he also believed that success had a lot to do with who you know, God's will and sometimes just plain dumb luck. He didn't believe in the energy based concept of the Law of Attraction, the part where your belief and thoughts can directly affect the outcome of any situation. He didn't get the part about vibrational alignment or that the universe was totally neutral in who it responded to or what it brought them - that it simply matched like-energy to like-energy.

I was really close to my dad and we are very similar in personalities. There's a very good chance I might have followed in his slightly cynical footsteps if it were not for these two pieces of advice that he himself gave me:

1. Read everything and anything you can ever get your hands on and;
2. There is no such thing as a stupid question

My father was not an angry or bitter man by any means. He considered himself and was considered by others to simply be an extremely practical one.

So when it came to the advice about reading he explained it to me in this way. "At least half of the people that you are talking to have no idea what they are talking about." In other words, "Take nothing you hear from another as fact. Read anything and everything you can about the subject and then draw your own conclusions." One of the things my father couldn't stand was when someone would simply repeat something they heard from someone else without having any idea how much of it was based on fact. He told me this even applied to him as well. He would say "I know I am your father, but I do not have all the answers. Go out and find your own answers and discover what you believe to be true."

It's not so hard to see what a major impact this has on my spiritual development. Here was this man who I looked up to more than anyone in my life telling me not to even take his word on anything as fact. He was teaching me that just because someone says that "this is the way it is and always has been" does not make it so.

It is also now a lesson I teach my own son. Do not take even "my" word as fact. Go out and read, play and experiment with ideas, then draw your own conclusions.

The second piece of advice "There is no such thing as a stupid question" probably had an even greater impact on me than the reading one because my father explained it to me this way.

"The stupid person is the one who didn't ask the question and walks out of the room still not knowing the answer."

Granted when I was younger this was definitely the harder one to put into practice. Being naturally on the shy side I hated drawing attention to myself or having others looking at me like I was an idiot. But thanks to Dad's advice and the mental picture he drew for me it was more important for me to not be "the stupid person walking out of the room still not knowing the answer."

Nowadays I think nothing of interrupting someone for clarification on what they are talking about when I don't understand and I will tell you why.

I truly cannot tell you how many times I have been the one to ask the "stupid" question and found out how many others in the room also didn't know the answer but were too afraid to ask. How many times they would come up to me and said "I am so glad you asked that, because I didn't have a clue either."

Secondly, sometimes when someone goes into further detail you will get a better sense of the subject and find that maybe you disagree. Maybe it doesn’t' sit right for you. So instead of leaving the room just taking what they said as gospel, you now have more information to make a better informed decision.

And if by any chance you are worried about the persons reaction when asking the question…don't.

I have found that 99% of the people you will ask for clarification on something will have no problem going into further details on the subject, especially if it is something they feel passionate about. Most people love to talk about what they love.

If you do get the oddball who looks at you stunned and says "You mean to tell me you really don't know the answer to that?" blow it off with a "No sorry. I've been too involved studying nuclear fission to keep up on the latest football scores (or whatever the subject happens to be about)."

So as you move along in your own spiritual development you may be wise to take my fathers advice.

Read any and every thing you can get your hands on and remember there is no such thing as a stupid question.

You'll be surprised at what you learn.

Happy Creating!

P.S. In case any of you were wondering how my weekend in Atlantic City went, I wanted to let you know it was awesome! When all was said and done I only came home winning $200 but what fun it was to earn! I had a full out batlle with a poker machine down there. I was on it for over 5 hours! It would have gone on longer but I had a buffet with my name on it. Oh, I just love that place!

Today is the Day To Watch What You Say

Your thoughts create your reality. This you already know. But those thoughts spoken aloud are ten times more powerful.

The following list will demonstrate just how important it is to watch what you say in all different situations.

Turning a momentary negative thought into an entire scenario.

Quite often thoughts we think drift in momentarily and then quickly drift out again. A lot of the time we don't put a lot of emotion in them. Most of the time our mind moves onto a different thought a moment later.

Everyone is going to have a negative thought once in awhile, but if there is not a lot of emotion behind it, there is a very good chance it is not going to affect your reality significantly.

Spoken aloud however these same thoughts take on a different power. Especially when said to another person, because then you normally have to back up your statement with a "story".

For example, you are talking with a friend about a new business venture you are in the middle of.

The thought "I don't quite know if this is going to work out" drifts through your mind and you say it out loud. Your friend naturally asks you why not? Now you have to come up with all the reasons why it might not work out to make your doubts sound plausible to your friend and to possibly gain some sympathy.

So you say "well if this happens, then that won't happen. And if this person doesn't come through then that person will not come through. And what about if this happens?"

Now you have just built an entire scenario of negative possibilities around your original thought. If the thought had been left alone, it quite possibly would have just drifted away - no harm - no foul.

Be careful who you are talking out loud to.

Have you ever really been psyched up about an idea you have come up with?. The excitement and energy keeps building and building until you are absolutely positive that nothing can keep you from making it a success? This is the positive vibrational place that you want to create from.

However, now you make the mistake of telling your idea to someone and within 2 seconds they say something that completely bursts your bubble. This time it is they who build a bunch of negative scenarios around your idea and put doubts in your head that were not there before. And now, no matter what you do, you can't seem to build up the same excitement or determination that you had before.

If you have a really good plan or idea - be careful who you share it with. If you really feel the need to "get it out there" write it in a journal, unless you are absolutely positive that the person you tell it to will be as excited as encouraged as you are.

Watch habitual negatives that come out of your mouth.

I don't know why I used to do this or even where I picked it up from, but a bad habit I used to have was to constantly say "I was tired." If there was a lull in a conversation or even if I just simply yawned, those were the first words out of my mouth. Even if I wasn't actually tired! (I know, it sounds weird) but I found after I said it a couple of times a day, sure enough that's how I really started to feel.

I eventually started to catch myself saying it for no reason and would laugh at myself like "Why on Earth are you saying that? It's not even true" I had kind of made it like a conversation filler.

Sometimes when we say these things it is just out of habit, but keep saying them and after awhile they can become your condition. So be careful what you say habitually. Things like "that makes me sick", or "I am sick and tired", or "I feel like crap" or any of the other sayings you might have picked up along the way.

Here are some more examples: I wrote a post about a month ago about How To Win At Gambling Using The Law of Attraction. One of the things I suggested to watch out for was using typical "Casino Talk" These are sayings that I hear people utter all the time when they are gambling and then they wonder why they aren't winning.

Such as:

How much are you down?
How much money do you have left?
Nobody seems to be hitting today (or the opposite).
Everybody seems to be hitting today except me.
I’m never lucky in this place.
I can’t get any play.
I can’t seem to do anything
I hate this place
This place Sucks!

Now these are just things I hear in casinos! What about the other places you go everyday? What negatives do you hear people constantly saying in your work place or in your kids school yard? How many of them are you guilty of saying yourself?

So for the next few days pay attention to all of the things that you say out loud. Question yourself when you say them. Ask yourself "Do I really mean that? Is that true? If I said something different would I feel better? Is there a better way of putting it?" You might be amazed at how your outside circumstances will change just by changing what you say out loud.

Happy Creating!

P.S. I just wanted to let you know that I will not be posting again until Monday. I am going to one of my favorite places in the world this weekend (Atlantic City) and plan on winning big! I am going to follow my own advice that I wrote about in the gambling post listed above and plan on having an awesome weekend! I hope you have a great one too! See you on Monday…

Do You Feel As If You Do Not Have "Time" To Apply The Law of Attraction?

I only get to see my uncle about once a year because he lives a pretty long distance away.

I wish I could have spent a lot more time with him, especially when I was younger, because my uncle is a master attractor!

I was probably about 10 years old when he came to Thanksgiving dinner one year all excited about this person called Jane Roberts who was able to channel this person named Seth.

I remember thinking: 1. I was terrified and 2. He was out of his head! A lively debate happened over the table that night as he attempted to explain to the adults how Seth worked and the message he was trying to bring.

My uncle had brought a copy of one of the books (I think it was Seth Speaks) and I remember it had a very unflattering picture of Jane Roberts on the cover while she was in mid-trance.

At 10 years old, that really frightened me. Not just the picture of coarse, but the idea that this woman's body was "taken over" by some spirit. Up until that point in my life my parents had taught me that "there was no such things as ghosts" but here was my adult uncle, stating differently.

Year after year my uncle got more into the material (he was REALLY ahead of his time) This was in the mid-70's. I wasn't influenced very much seeing as that I didn't get to see him very often, but would overhear my mother every once in awhile, talk about what new thing my "crazy" uncle was up to. We all affectionately called him our "crazy" uncle - something he always laughed at good naturedly. (If I only knew then, what I know now. I've since apologized to him by the way, for thinking he was looney tunes. He of coarse, accepted graciously)

I was around the age of 20 myself when the Law of Attraction "bug" hit me. I went from a total non-believer to becoming obsessed with the subject. Trying to get my hands on everything I could to find out more. Yes, I even read every Seth book in print.

Anyway I was probably about 22 or 23 when my uncle met me in Manhattan for lunch one day and we were discussing how my spiritual growth was going.

I remember complaining that I loved the concept, the only problem was I didn't "have time" to apply it. My job was crazy, I had been in the middle of a tough relationship, there were money problems, etc. My entire focus was on the craziness of my existence, that I didn't have time to be peaceful, calm, to meditate and to get centered.

My uncle looked at me like I was crazy for a moment, then said very emphatically "It sounds to me like you don't have time not to. Don't you realize that once you do master it, all of those other problems will go away?"

That statement made a big impact on me. Well…duh! It made total sense. I just never had anyone state it so bluntly like that before.

So if you have been feeling as if you don't have "time" to apply the Law in your life because things are so hectic right now…I am going to give you the same advice he gave me.

You don't have time not to.

Find the time to meditate, take the time to read more inspirational books, find a way to do some of the exercises. Once you master it, all of those other "problems" will fade away.

Oh! And in case you were wondering, my uncle is a professional healer and intuit now. He combines physical healing with correct mental thought and even famous actors and professional athletes have a problem getting an appointment with him! He has finally found his "true calling".

How To Develop Your Psychic Abilities

There is nothing as exciting as "tapping into" your sixth sense. You probably know what I mean. When you suddenly "just know" something that you shouldn't know by conventional means.

When you automatically know who is on the phone when it rings, when someone calls out of the blue who you were just thinking about, or when a song that has been going through your head happens to be on when you turn on the radio.

This practice is more commonly known as ESP or Extra Sensory Perception.

The idea behind it is that we are all tapping into a shared consciousness or super-consciousness that connects all people and all living things.

It also goes along with the belief that linear time as we know it isn't real but that everything, is in fact, happening NOW at the same moment.

So while most of our lives we operate believing that one moment follows another then follows another - every once in awhile we get a look at a "future" moment (which really isn't a future moment at all - if everything is in fact all happening NOW). When we have a physic experience we are simply experiencing time in its natural state.

While it is true that some people are born with a more natural talent for having these moments, inherently we all have it. Because we are all equally a part of the one super consciousness - we all have the ability to tap into that super consciousness at will. And because all time is the same time - it is not at all farfetched that we can retrain ourselves to experience time in its natural state at certain times when we choose to.

It simply takes a little practice.

The following steps are designed to help you strengthen your own psychic abilities.

1. Acknowledging The Ability. Once upon a time ESP was looked at as if it were a joke. Only used by phony fortune tellers or charlatans. But if that were true, do you really think our scientists and even our U.S. government would spend millions of dollars in researching it? ESP is a very real ability that we all have. If you would like to tap into your abilities more, than you simply need to focus on this simple truth:

"ESP is natural and real and I have just as much access to it as anyone else."

2. Making A Conscious Effort To Tap Into It. Like anything else in our universe the more focus you give it the stronger it becomes. Rewire your old thoughts that psychic experiences only happen once in a "blue moon". Use the mantra "I am psychic and able to tap into my abilities more and more everyday." Once you subconscious self gets this message it will kick into gear and make it a reality. Say your mantra often.

3. Relax. Deep breathing and meditation are important. They quiet the mind which gives you better and clearer access to the super consciousness we are talking about. The better that you are at quieting your mind, the easier and clearer your answers will come through.

3. Practice.

Simple enough. When the phone rings take a moment to "feel" who the caller is. Remember we are all energetic beings who can read each others energies. Don't try too hard…simply drop all ideas of who you "think" it might possibly be and try to tune in and feel it instead.

Take a deck of cards and remove all 4 Queens (or whichever card you desire - as long as you have it in each suit.) Feel the cards - look and observe them - feel at "one" with each one. Then turn them over on the table and guess which card is which. With practice you will see that you get it right more often!

Feel what time you will arrive someplace. As I have mentioned before in previous posts, this is a game I have fun with all the time. Someone will ask me what time I will arrive somewhere and I will give them the exact minute. So when they ask "What time will you be there?" I will quiet my mind and see what exact minute of time pops into my head. Then I will reply "I will be there exactly 7:13." They normally laugh, as if I am making a joke. But I can't tell you how many times I have been spot on! Pulling into the parking lot or arriving at the door at that exact minute. And this is without knowing what exact moment I will be able to leave the house or traffic conditions. They normally forget what time I told them and don't pay attention when I arrive, but I notice every time!

Two Awesome Manifestations Last Week

Morning All! Hope you had an awesome weekend!

Two cool things happened last week that I just feel like sharing.

The first one occurred on Tuesday. I had written a post about how to obtain a free copy of one of my favorite ebooks The Jackrabbit Factor by Leslie Householder.

All you needed to do was sign up for Leslie's newsletter to receive a copy.

The next morning I received this email.

"Hi! i just wanted to send you this email because i thought you might get a kick out of it. yesterday morning i had sent out a mental request to receive some free books about the law of attraction. money has been tight lately so i asked for a way to receive some books that wouldn't cost me anything but that would still inspire me. that day i went to your blog and found the free ebook you were offering by signing up to Leslie's newsletter (i loved the ebook by the way!). i was so excited - i had attracted something i asked for in just one day! but it gets better! a couple of hours later i received an email from Leslie that was also offering a free book written by a friend of hers about the law of attraction if you were one of the first 50 people who signed up. and this one was in hardcover! i gave them my address and they are sending it in the mail and it isn't costing me a cent! this is soooo much fun - i created 2 free books in 1 day! i just thought you might find it interesting as well. keep up the good work! - i look forward to your posts
sincerely nancy,"

I just thought that was so cool and talk about some quick manifesting!

Another fun one happened to me this past Friday. I had a bunch of errands to run but was having too much fun playing around on Twitter (I love checking out others posts). Anyway, I had to go to the post office, the library to return some books that were going to be overdue and to the store to pick up something for dinner.

But I really didn't feel like going. I wanted to play!

So I decided to give it to Universe to do (see Universe Task List post).

Sure enough I talked to my neighbor who says they are already on their way to the post office and would happily take my stuff as well. My first automatic response was going to be "Don't worry, I have to go out anyway," but then I remembered that I was handing this to Universe so I gratefully gave them my package.

The next person I talked to was my husband (who called me!) and suggested that we go out to dinner Friday night because we hadn't been out in awhile. I was thrilled ! Now I didn't have to do shopping for dinner! (Also I could look forward to going out to eat.) Yay! Two down and one to go!

The library I figured was going to be a tricky one however. Normally it is not such a big deal to be a day or two late returning books but I had almost 20 of them out! (I've been stocking up all summer for me and my son.) 20 late books can get a little pricey and I couldn’t imagine anyone I knew was going to happen to be on their way to the library on this particular day. (Plus I couldn't ask them to take 20 books!)

But then get this! The same neighbor who had dropped off my stuff at the post office came by again to give me the receipt for my package. When I mentioned that I still had to go to the library she told me that I could simply go online and renew my books that way. I was like "No Way!"

Sure enough it was a piece of cake. (This is in New York by the way. I don't know if it works everywhere else) I typed in the bar code on my library card - it brought up all the books I had out - I check marked them all the way down for renewal and just bought myself 3 more weeks time to return them.

How unbelievably cool was that! All 3 errands done without even leaving the house.

I truly Love this stuff!

So anyway, you might want to give either of these things a try. Ask Universe to deliver something new to you today or ask Universe to deal with stuff you are not in the mood for and see how quickly it delivers to you!

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #27 - Attracting The Perfect Love Partner or Relationship

This is an exercise designed to help you attract "the" dream relationship you have always wanted. It might get a little lengthy (the article and the exercise) but can be extremely enlightening. So here we go.

The first thing you are going to do is analyze your past relationships. What was right with, as well as what was wrong with each one of them, and how it effected you personally.

You are going to go as far back as your first crush at 10 years old.

So now in chronological order (as much as you remember anyway) you are going to give a separate notebook page or word processing document to each person.

On Each Page you are going to write the persons name on top and then these 4 sections:

1. Negatives
2. Positives
3. Worst Memories of things that happened between the two of you
4. Best Memories of things that happened

You see one of the most important ingredients in using the Law of Attraction is knowing "exactly" what it is you are wanting. How can Universe bring you the "perfect" relationship when you have never gotten laser beam clear on what the "perfect" relationship to you would be?

Believe me, by the time you have finished the first part of this exercise - you will definitely have a better idea.

O.K. So here we go.

Write out all the negative qualities about this person that you didn't like. For example:

Negative:

Selfish
Irresponsible
Too Clingy
Too Flirty
Unreliable
Irresponsible
Too much into shopping
Too much into sports, etc.
(Remember - this has to do with what felt negative to you personally - not how others might think abut it)

Postives

Funny
Daring
Generous
Intelligent
Challenging
Attractive
Same Interest etc.
(Again this has to do with what "you" enjoyed about the person - not what your best friends or your mother thinks you should enjoy)

Now list the most negative memories that you have had with this particular person

The time they cheated on me
The time they embarrassed me in front of my friends or family
The time they didn't show up for….
The time they lied to me about….

Now I have to tell you. This might get a little detailed. Some of these things might still cause you embarrassment or even pain. But you need to get this stuff out in the open. You don't want to bury it inside of you or ignore it and I will tell you why. If you have an unconscious fear of these things happening again and you are consciously or unconsciously "worried" about it happening again - guess what chances are you will draw to you again? If you keep putting out the energy "I don’t want them to cheat, I don't want them to cheat" look at what your focus is on! The person cheating. Think of this part as cathartic. As you write down each bad memory, imagine that you are now expunging it from your experience just by the act of writing it down.

Next write about all the positive memories you have about the relationship.

The time they surprised me with….
The laughs we had when……
How they used to bring me coffee every morning..
Love notes they would leave around…
Great phone sex…

Whatever… you get the picture.

Now do this for every person you were involved with romantically.

O.K. Now you have your blueprint right in front of you. You know what you do and don't want.

Now you are going to start a new page. On this page you are going to write:

What Universe Is Happily Delivering To Me in The Perfect Partner

Now go back to all of your lists and write down all the things that were listed in your positive aspect categories. Then write:

The person I am going to be in a relationship with is going to be:

Funny
Daring
Generous
Intelligent
Challenging
Attractive
Have the same interest, etc.

Take all of the positives from all of the lists (because some people had good qualities that others didn't and you want them all!)

After this list is put together, add whatever things that maybe you never had from someone but always wanted.

Note: Just be careful how you write this. If you want your dream person to look like George Clooney or Pam Anderson don't write that. Write that you would like to be "as attracted" to them as you are to George or Pam. Because let's get real - there aren't too many George's or Pam's around. But if you have the same level of physical attraction towards your dream person - what does it matter what their actual physical characteristics are?

O.K. Now you are laser-beam clear on what you want.

Next step:

Put that paper aside for the moment and take out a fresh sheet.

On this one you are going to write:

If the perfect person were to show up right now I would need to:

Lose 20 pounds
Clean or paint my apartment
Clean out my car
Get them a fresh toothbrush
Make room in a drawer of closet for them at my house
Buy new sexy underwear or pajamas they could see me in
Etc.

Now let me tell you why this is important. I have written a previous post about how a girlfriend and I discovered this little trick quite by accident.

Even though she kept saying she was ready for her dream relationship there were actually a million reasons why she "technically" wasn't. She had a whole list of things she wanted to improve, or even worse, felt she would have to hide from her dream person. (Her messy apartment, her Hello Kitty bed sheets, etc.)

So even though she was saying she was ready, unconsciously she had a laundry list of reasons why she really wasn't.

We found out that it was that "list" that was holding her back from meeting "him".

So ask yourself that same question. If your dream person were to show up tomorrow would you be ready for them? Would you be proud to show them where you live? Do you have room for them where you live so they could have a drawer or closet in your place if you wanted them to stay over. Would you be comfortable walking around naked in front of them? Would you be proud to show them how and what you eat? Feel any need to hide a bad habit from them, smoking or excessive drinking or whatever?

You see the time to address these issues is now! You do not have to wait for them to actually show up before going into "impression overdrive". If there is something you would do different in your life to make things better for your new partner, then start physically preparing for their arrival now!

Join that gym, lose that weight, clean your place up!

There are actually three benefits to this. The first is that you are not only telling Universe what you are wanting - you are physically taking action that shows you are so sure your dream person is on its way that you getting ready for it.

The second benefit is that if any of these "bad habits" have unconsciously held you back from attracting that person, you are eliminating those unconscious road blocks.

The third benefit is if you feel that you want to make any of these changes for another person - it means that even without realizing it - these changes are important to you as well, otherwise you wouldn't care about making them in the first place.

So by doing them now, you will automatically be making yourself feel better. You will feel stronger, cleaner, more organized, you will look better. Your mental vibration will increase and it is from this higher level that you want to be vibrating at when attracting your dream partner.

O.K. So now where are we?

We have two lists. The one that shows exactly what you want in a relationship and a second that shows the actions you are going to start taking to be "ready" for that person.

On To Step Three: (The most important and quite possibly the most difficult step)

Get busy enjoying every moment of your life right now and forget about the actual who, where and when you are going to meet this person.

You see, you have already done the two most important parts of making Law of Attraction work.

You have gotten clear on what you want and have asked for it
You have gotten yourself ready to receive it
The third step is now in Universe's hands - the delivery of it.

Now get out of your own way and let Universe do its thing!

By sitting around worrying or trying to force the issue, you are doing exactly the opposite of what you should be doing to attract!

By thinking "I still haven't met them!" you are attracting "not meeting them!" By worrying about them "not showing up yet" you are attracting "not showing up yet".

And then of coarse there is the "desperation scent" We have all put it out there at one time or another, just as most of us have also been on the receiving end.

The pushy, needy, too much - too soon feeling. Desperation on the person wanting it - suffocation for the person on the receiving end. Remember we are energetic beings. We can read the energy coming from others even if it is subconscious.

Let it go and start appreciating all the great things that exist in your life right NOW! Don't worry - the right person will show up!

Look at it this way, who would you be more attracted to? The lonely desperate person sitting in the corner, or the happy, busy, purposeful one who is enjoying every moment in life?!

Or even looking at it this way. If you meet that person tomorrow, you are a great person to be around. If you don't meet that person for a few months, you are still a great person to be around!!

Either way you win and you are happy!

So go and do your lists and remember to follow the order.

Ask, be ready to receive and then get out of Universe's way! You'll be with your dream person before you know it.

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #26 - Losing Weight With The Law of Attraction

The first question is: Can you lose weight by using the Law of Attraction? The answer? Absolutely!

The next question is: Can you lose weight just by thinking "thin thoughts"? The answer? Again absolutely! However…

You knew that "however" would be there didn't you? That's O.K. There's no sense in denying it. Because chances are you didn't believe it when you read it anyway. You may want to believe it, but deep down it sounds a little too good to be true.

The good news however, is that it really isn't so far off the mark.

And that is what this article is about. A "real" way to lose weight using the Law of Attraction.

Now I don’t want you to be discouraged. Yes, there will be a little action required on your part for the whole weight loss thing to happen, but it will not be nearly as painful as you "think". And the simple reason is because the most important thing we are going to address is the way you "think".

In other words, you are going to learn how to start "thinking thin".

The difference however, is that you are not going to do this in any kind of phony way. You are not going to "think" one way, yet act another and therefore feel as if you are just lying to yourself.

What you are going to do is take at least three or four little physical actions every day combined with "correct thought" that is really going to get that weight loss momentum going.

O.K now I am going to need you to bear with me for a few moments. I am going to list the physical actions you need to take first - then the mental changes - and then we will get to the fun stuff. How to combine them to make them truly effective.

So please do not groan. As you look at each of these physical steps you will realize just how simple they really are. None of them are the least bit expensive, time consuming or difficult. You can easily slip them into you day without even thinking about it.

Physical Steps:

1. Drink More Water. That 's easy enough right? First of all, water is filling. Especially if you drink it right before a meal. It makes you feel fuller and you eat less. Second of all your body needs water. If you normally don't drink enough your body will retain it for future use. Drink more and your body will let it flow through you easily. Plus it constantly cleans out your system. Even your skin will look better when you add more fresh water to your diet.

2. Drink Green Tea - Not only is it naturally filled with antioxidants it is also a natural weight loss inducer. You can use caffeinated or decaffeinated. You can drink it hot or cold. And if you are not crazy about its natural flavor, it now comes in a ton of different flavors you can try (beware of sugar factors however). Be sure to drink at least 3 or 4 cups or bottles a day. Again harmless and easy - but very effective and keeps your body running like a well oiled machine.

3. Take vitamin supplements - The more vitamins - the more efficiently your body thrives - the better you feel - the more energy you have - the more calories you burn! Again very simple. Put these vitamins next to your toothbrush to remind you to take them everyday. - Another quickie - takes 10 seconds.

4. Eat Slower. Another solution that takes almost no effort on your part and in fact makes your meals much more enjoyable. Every time you take a bite of your food, let yourself completely enjoy the experience. Roll it around on your tongue. Enjoy the flavor of it, the texture. Take time to be thankful for the awesome morsel.

Not only does it make your meals so much more enjoyable, but it will also help you to lose weight. The reason being is that it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register that you're full. If you eat fast, you can continue eating past the point where are in fact, full. If you eat slowly, you have time to realize you are full, and stop on time.

Plus if you slow down, eventually you will simply get tired of eating. If it normally takes you 15 minutes to scoff down an entire meal but now it takes you the same amount of time to eat only half of it - simply out of habit you will be ready to put your fork down at that 15 minute time limit.

5. Always leave a little food on your plate. You may have heard this one before, but believe it or not it actually works! Especially for this particular exercise. Not only are you consuming many less calories over a period of time by doing this every meal, but you are also giving yourself some positive reinforcement as you go along. You will feel much better when you feel as if you didn't just eat your meal "like a pig" but like a real civilized person.

It will also simply reinforce your positive actions towards weight loss each time you push your plate away with a little food left on it. You can say to yourself "See? See how good I am? I didn't have to eat all of it, but I still enjoyed it! - I did good"

6. Eat Smaller Portions More Often. You might have heard of this before as well, but it also works. Like the water example mentioned above, if you continuously replenish your body with what it needs - it will have no reason to keep anything in reserve and will get rid of it. 5 or 6 small meals a day (as opposed to only 2 or 3 huge ones) will give it this constant replenishment.

6. Deep Breathing. Can you lose weight simply by breathing? Again, believe it or not yes! When you learn to breathe properly. If you go online you can find a ton of good deep breathing exercises to try. How will this effect weight loss? That extra oxygen you are gifting your body with is now moving through your bloodstream, slightly increasing your flow, and getting rid of excess waste and fat. All that in a matter of seconds! Again - quick, easy and painless.

7. Exercise. You knew this had to come into it eventually - but this too can be painless and easy. Walking is awesome! Simply incorporate a little more if it into your day. If you take the bus to work simply get off a stop before and walk the rest of the way. Instead of eating at the office cafeteria, go out someplace you can walk back and forth to. Do you have a store 8 blocks away that you normally drive to - or is your kids' school about that far away? Walk instead of driving to get them.(They will enjoy it too - because they will get more one on one time with you as well.) Just do a little something everyday that makes you feel good and positive about yourself. It does not have to be a full hour at the gym (unless you have the option to do that as well. Obviously if you do - go for it!)

8. Eat Better. This is probably the only physical thing that might require a few moments of your time. But even then it will only take you about 15 minutes a week. Put Simply - Plan Your Diet.

It is no mystery why programs like Jenny Craig works so well when it comes to dieting. It is simply because it is so much easier to eat well when you have the proper foods right in front of you for easy access.

So make up your own plan. Pick the healthy foods you do enjoy and build a weeks worth of menus around them. Take chicken or fish for instance. Go online and find 4 or 5 healthy recipes you can make with them. Write down all the ingredients. Buy them at the grocery store all in one shot. This way everything you need is on hand when you need it.

If you would like to take it one step further and spend a little more time each week then take a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon and prepare your meals in advance. Put them into individual servings and put them in the fridge or freezer. That simple act will ensure you are eating well all week long!

You will totally eliminate the problem of eating junk food or fast food due to lack of time or because you are always on the run.

Also fill the fridge with the fruits you like, with yogurt, with fresh vegetables you can throw in mini zip locks and can take on the run with you.

Do not make a bigger deal out of this than it is. Simply decide to do it once a week and learn to enjoy the process. Watch television or listen to your favorite music while you are doing it. Learn how to truly enjoy the art of cooking.

O.K. So now we have addressed the simple and easy physical steps. Almost all of them take no time at all and are easy to incorporate into your day.

Now we will address the changes you are going to make mentally:

1. Affirmations: You need to come up with a good one that you are going to use at least 3 times a day. Such as: "I am getting thinner and healthier every minute" or "I feel thinner and healthier already" Or even "Wow! I really am getting thinner every day!" Make sure that whichever one you choose makes you feel really good, because like I said, you are going to be saying it at least 3 times a day to yourself every day.

Once as soon as you wake up - at least once during the day and especially once before you to go bed at night.

2. Walk Around "Feeling" thinner:

How would you feel if you were your perfect weight right now? Would you stand taller? Shoulders back? Would you walk lighter with more bounce or stride more powerfully? Feel your clothes moving easier on your body? How would your face look? Imagine your jaw or cheekbones more defined. As you sit in your chair at work or move around all day continuously feel as if you already are your perfect weight.

When you talk to people, imagine they are looking at this thinner face that is more defined. Suck in your cheeks just a bit when you are working on the computer feeling how your newly defined face feels to you personally. Feel sexy when you are driving. When you are in bed at night imagine lying there with your flat abs and perfectly muscled legs. Move as if you already have those desired body parts. Move them slowly - sensuously - as you shift positions to get comfortable. Truly "feel" absolutely perfect inside and out!

3.Fantasize

Come up with a great fantasy you can think about right before you go to sleep at night.

So what is your fantasy scenario when you have this perfect body? As a man do you imagine the great looking beauty next door catching your muscles gleaming as you work in your backyard unable to look away from you? As a woman do you imagine your dream guy not being able to take his eyes off of you as you stand in your slinky dress at a cocktail party? How about meeting your "movie star" crush in the most unusual circumstances and they are so totally attracted to you. Do you dream of your spouse unable to stop looking at you or unable to keep their hands off of you? Maybe its just your friends looking at you in amazement asking you how you did it, or how you plan on looking for your 20 year reunion. Go for a fantasy that simply makes you feel really good, excited and accomplished.

Now that you have decided on your affirmation, how you "feel" and look physically and your fantasy - we are going to put it all together with the physical actions and make it work.

Here Goes:

You wake up in the morning and say your first affirmation "I am thinner and healthier already!".
You take your vitamins and think - "this is keeping me thinner and healthier"
You drink your first glass of green tea "this is keeping me thinner and healthier"
You get dressed and "feel" thin
You walk lighter, stronger, shoulders back "I already feel like I am my perfect weight"
You feel your clothes shifting comfortably loose around you.
Your face feels more defined and you already "feel" more attractive
You eat your first small meal of the day "this is keeping me thinner and healthier"
You drink another glass of water "this is keeping me feeling thinner and healthier"
You remember to do a deep breathing exercise "this is makming me feel thinner and healthier
You get off the bus stop one stop earlier. As you are walking you are thinking "this is making me thinner and healthier - as a matter of fact I feel great!"
As you sit at your desk you slightly suck in your cheeks - you sit taller "I really look and feel great!"
You walk to lunch "this is making me feel thinner and healthier"
You eat very slowly "Every single bite of this meal is absolutely delicious!"
You leave some food on your plate "Wow, I am completely full, I enjoyed every bite and by not finishing I am know I am getting thinner and healthier"
You have another cup of green tea "this is making me feel thinner and healthier"
You restate your affirmation "I am thinner and healthier already!" a few times during the day
Continue on your day. Keep saying, thinking and doing these little things that are making you feel so much better.
Then as you "gracefully" slip your beautiful healthy body into your bed at night you think about one of your fantasies. How good you look to that dream person. The look of appreciation in their eyes when they look at you, how good and strong and powerful you feel and you know that tomorrow you will look and feel even better!

The next day start again. This time incorporate a few different things into your day. Skip the tea but replace a meal with a health drink. Use the same kinds of words all the time while doing these things like "this is making me thinner and healthier"

So now what thoughts are you going to have when you have just eaten that really fattening meal or had those few drinks? You are going to think "So what? I also drank my water today that is helping me be thinner, took my vitamins today that is making me thinner, took my walk today that is making me be thinner. I used to eat fattening meals all the time - but back then I didn't ever do anything to counteract it. Now I do things all day long to make myself healthy - so a good meal certainly isn't going to hurt me!"

You see there is no reason for negativity, guilt or self loathing here. As long as you are doing constant positive things throughout your day that are helping you feel good, of coarse you are allowed to enjoy the fattening stuff once in awhile.

After all, life isn't supposed to be torture! All it requires is a healthier balance. Stay good most of the time, think positively all of the time and allow yourself to enjoy the heck out of the good stuff when it becomes available.

Now there is only one no-no when it comes to this exercise.

Do not ever get on a scale!

Here is the deal. As you have probably realized when you first start a diet, the weight comes off fairly quickly. After awhile however it will slow down and your body will reach a plateau where it levels out for awhile.

Getting on a scale at this point is like a death sentence!

There is almost no way to ever remain positive when that needle stops moving. That is when all the sabotaging thoughts come in. When you will start saying to yourself "but I did this and this and this. Why bother if it isn't working? It's all a waste of time, etc."

Do not ever give yourself that opportunity to sabotage yourself. As long as you stay away from that scale you will never be aware if and when that plateau period hits and you will continue to lose weight and feel better about yourself every day. Don't worry. You will know when it is working. When your clothes are swimming on you, when the compliments start coming from every direction, when someone takes a picture of you and for the first time you don't want to rip it up. You don't need no stinkin' scale!

And so there it is. How to really lose weight using the Law of Attraction. A much longer post than I originally intended but I think we got just about everything covered.

The most important part of this exercise is the constant reminder to yourself of all the good you are doing all day long. Constant…constant…constant! If all of your time and thoughts are on what you are wanting to create there will be no time or room for any of the old doubts to come through.

So go and get your weight loss momentum going! Believe me it is very addicting and has the strangest side effect of making you feel better in other areas of your life as well.

It is amazing how constant positive thoughts can change just about everything!

An Ebook Freebie! - It's A Good One

Good Morning Everyone,

Time for another freebie! There is a great little book by Leslie Housholder called The Jackrabbit Factor. It was an award winning national best seller when first released in hard cover.

Written in story form, it is a pretty fast and easy read but packs a powerful punch and message.

I originally purchased this book for myself about 3 years ago online and enjoyed it so much I started selling it on my website through an affiliate program.

But now Leslie has been generous enough to offer it for free. All you need to do is sign up for her free newsletter. I have been receiving her newsletter myself for a few years now and it is always filled with awesome inspirational articles.

Here is an excerpt from the book:

“Son,” his father smiled and opened his arms.
“Oh, Dad…” Richard melted into his father’s arms just as he had dreamed
over and over. When he felt alone or depressed, he often closed his eyes and
visualized this very event. “Dad, I have missed you so much…You’re here! How—?”
Richard exclaimed through breathy sobs.

“Ritchie. Oh, my little Ritchie. I’ve been with you, on occasion, but you
couldn’t see me. At times, your thoughts drew me close to you. Just as the things
you desire. That is what I am here to tell you now: You want money? Use your
thoughts. You need food? Use your thoughts. Think on the worthy desires of your
heart, and they are drawn to you spiritually.”
“What do you mean, Dad?” Richard pulled away from his father’s embrace,
but continued to hold his arms.

“All physical things have a spiritual counterpart. By thinking, we draw the
spiritual counterpart to ourselves. By persisting in right thought, the angels do our
bidding and arrange the affairs of men to cause the worthy desires to pass from the
spiritual to the physical world.”

Richard’s brows furrowed and he shook his head slightly. “That seems too
simple, and kind of weird, Dad. I’ve thought lots of things that never came true.”
“As long as you believed it was coming, the dream was actually on its way.
All things in the universe that were required to see the dream come true were
gathering for your benefit. However, and this is where most men fail, the moment
you entertain doubt or fear, all of those forces reverse and the things, the ideas, the situations, the people you need immediately draw away from you.”

His father paused, and then continued, “Our negative thoughts actually and
literally cause the blessings to be repelled. If you can picture what you want, and
believe that it is on its way, by God’s law it must come. Hold on to the belief, and in time you will realize it.” Richard’s father panned the area surrounding them, and
held up his hand as if to display the scenery to his son. “The earth is abundant with
all that any man could desire. But by his own misuse of thought he cannot see it.”
He dropped his hand and then tapped Richard’s forehead, “Change your thinking,
and you will see the opportunities all around you. You have been blind to them, but
they are all around you right now.”

Blind to them? Richard thought about the blonde man that couldn’t see the
sacks. What am I missing? What’s all around me now that I can’t see? Richard
looked around. He wasn’t sure what he was looking for but nothing really stood out.
He saw the dilapidated road, the vast fields on each side, the tree line and thick
forest in the distance. He looked back at his father, puzzled.

“Son, you have to know what you want. If someone else has what you want,
learn from them, but you must trust your own instincts to make the right decisions.
The voice of inspiration will come only after you have a clear picture in your mind of what you are seeking, and after you allow yourself to feel truly grateful, as though you already enjoy the success.”

Sounds pretty good - doesn't it? Actually I think I am going to read the whole thing myself again right now.

You'll be glad you did.

I Screwed Up

Morning All!

Sorry for the lack of posts this weekend. I normally take either Saturday or Sunday off each week but try to post at least once on the weekends.

However, it seems that yesterday I "screwed up". Within the first 15 minutes of being online I somehow picked up a pretty serious computer virus from some miscellaneous website while I was surfing.

Now picking up the virus wasn't the screw up. That "just was." It was simply something that "just happened".

The screw up was the way I handled it. I forgot to follow my own advice.

Instead of pre-paving and visualizing an easy solution and easy fix to the problem, I got really angry instead.

You see this is the fourth time this has happened to me in the last year and a half.

The first two times the damage was so bad to the computers that I actually had to bring them somewhere to have the entire hard drive wiped clean so I could start all over again. (I can't tell you how much information that I lost on those computers.)

The third time it happened (about six months ago) I remembered to think positively that I was going to be able to find an easy way to fix it without losing any information and sure enough during a phone call with my mother she told me about a free service that Microsoft has called the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool (more info on this later).

Sure enough I tried it and it worked and I lost nothing.

This time however, instead of keeping my cool I totally panicked.

You see on Friday I got a little nudge from Universe to back up some files I had on the computer that are filled with notes for a new book I am writing. I meant to do it, but got distracted and never got around to it.

So when this virus happened my first thoughts were filled with terror of losing all of that work.. My mind went immediately to my first two experiences when I lost everything and I frantically tried to do damage control by gaining access to those documents and emailing them to myself in hopes of saving them if the computer got wiped out.

As I was doing this I was getting angrier and angrier. I was swearing that "whoever" was responsible for putting these malicious viruses on people's systems were lucky they weren't in the room with me at that point, because all I could envision doing was hitting them across the back of their heads with a 2" x 4" (I know…real spiritual huh?)

But I was just so angry! How could people do this!? I wondered. Why would people do this!? How miserable are their little lives that they consider stuff like this entertainment?! (Anyway you get the picture --. I was on a really good roll!)

Sure enough I spent a good four hours between anger and fear trying everything I could think of to fix it (trying to correct the problem in safety mode - etc.)

It wasn't until I had to go out and run some errands that distracted me from my anger that I remembered about the free Microsoft Service.

Sure enough as soon as I got home I contacted them and they walked me through the solution effortlessly.

It was fixed within a half hour!

I couldn't help laughing at myself. What the heck had happened to me?! I had so totally lost it!

So anyway…that's how I screwed up.

I guess no matter how long we study or how much we learn - every once in awhile we are bound to have a very "human" moment.

Mine just happened to last for over 4 hours yesterday.

By the way…if you have Microsoft on your system, the Malicious Software Removal Tool really can be helpful.

Just type in Microsoft Malicious Removal Tool in Google and you will get access to a free downloadable program that is usually pretty good at cleaning your system of viruses.

If your problem is more serious and you can't even gain access to your internet - here is the number to call and they will walk you step by step through the process 1-866-727-2338 (also a free service).

There are also 2 programs they recommend that you use. The first is http://safety.live.com - this will download an automatic virus removal program or if that fails, try www.pcsafety.us go to the very bottom of the page and click on Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

It might not be a bad idea to go to these sites right now and just add these pages in your favorites so you have a place you can go immediately if you pick up one of these viruses. The quicker you address it - the better.

Manifestation Exercise #25 - Keeping a Spiritual Growth Journal

Don’t you just love it when you read something that gives you that A-ha moment - a great moment of clarity -- a “why didn’t that ever dawn on my before?” moment?

Don’t you just hate it when two days later you completely forget what the awe-inspiring thought was that caused that feeling?

Don’t worry - it is totally normal, especially when you are in spiritual growth mode.

We’ve all had those moments where something “clicks” inside of us and makes us feel so positive and optimistic, that at the time we think we can’t possibly forget what that message was.

Then a few days after being distracted by the “real world” we find we can’t get that feeling back or even remember what “idea” turned us on in the first place.

That’s where creating a spiritual journal comes in. If you haven’t already started one, there is no better time than the present.

There are a few different ways to do this. It depends on the style you are most comfortable with.

If you like the act of physical writing:

A brand new 5 Subject Notebook is the way to go. Be sure to buy one specifically for this purpose. Buy one with a fancy cover or color you really connect with or cover it with pictures you enjoy. Make this book really special.

Now give a separate category to the first 3 sections. The 1st section could be about Attracting Money, the 2nd Relationships, the 3rd physical health, etc. Pick the first 3 that are most important to you in their order of importance. Save the 4th section for miscellaneous. Just thoughts or quotes that inspire or make you feel good. Inspirational website addresses that you don't want to forget - even pictures that make you feel good. And then there is the all important 5th section. This is where you are going to put down all your miracles and synchronistic events (more on this later).

If You Prefer The Computer:

Set up a main folder with an Inspiring Title and then do the same as listed above. Create 3 Subfolders regarding the subjects most important to you, a 4th for Miscellaneous and then the 5th for "miracles".

The reason for the category separation is because you are going to fill up these pages faster than you ever dreamed possible. So in the future, whenever you need a little inspiration regarding a specific problem, you will immediately be able to get your quick fill of page after page of perfect material that will boost you up regarding that one subject.

Now as to where you get your information. Obviously this will vary as well.

If you buy your own books and read in transit - a highlighter pen is obviously the easiest way to go. Simply highlight the paragraphs or sentences that specifically mean something to you. (A fun perk with this is when you go back to the book a year or two later and find that what you considered as a big "A-ha" moment then - is now something you take for granted. I can't tell you how many times I would say to myself "Wow! That was an idea I thought was earth shattering?! I now live by that principle every day without thinking about it.")

If you get your material from the library or you borrowed the book from someone else those little post it tags are perfect. They are small enough to carry in your pocket or purse and are even reusable. They are also so thin that you can easily place them on the paragraph or sentence that inspired you for easy locating later that evening.

One of the best things you can do is keep a little mini notebook with you -so not only can you write down what inspired you - but also your thoughts on how it applies to your situation directly. (A very important part of the exercise later.)

Magazines are pretty much a no-brainer. Just rip out the article or fold the top for easy locating.

And if you get your information from the internet or websites - again quite easy. Simply copy and paste it into your designated folder or document.

Now the two most important part of this exercise.

1. Transferring this information over to your notebook or computer.

I highly recommend you do this on a daily basis, preferable right before bedtime. There is no better way to let these fresh ideas sink into your subconscious than letting them be the last things you think about before going to sleep.

Also doing it daily keeps it from becoming a burden. You don't want to wait until you have a whole book of post-its before typing or writing it down because then it will become "work".

Another benefit of doing it everyday is the momentum you will create by reinforcing these ideas constantly. You will be amazed at how quick these ideas will become your new natural way of thinking when you give them constant daily attention.

And lastly and most obviously you want to keep the inspiring ideas fresh as soon as you get that "A-ha" feeling and remember why they hit you so strongly.

Which leads us to the second most important part.

2. Writing down not only the sentences that inspire you but also how and why they inspire you specifically at that moment. This is what the 5th category in your notebook or computer is going to contain.

For example, say you are having a problem with a family member that keeps butting into your business and you don't know how to deal with them. Then "coincidently" that same day you read an article that tells you exactly how to handle that type of situation. You immediately get a chill when you read it because you are saying to yourself "Oh Wow! That was exactly what I needed to read at this exact moment. Universe really responded - How awesome!"

This is the kind of stuff you need to write down!. These mini miracles! Because believe me when I tell you, if you don't you write them down that day - you will forget!

I'll give you a personal example. About 8 years ago I was in a fairly serious financial situation. I needed to come up with about $10,000. At the time I was reading a whole bunch of ideas and exercises to help me manifest this money. Sure enough within three weeks I received the money from a very unexpected source- no strings attached! I was stunned - I was amazed - I was thrilled! It worked! Law of Attraction really worked!

I busied myself putting the money to very good use and got on with my life. Things went pretty smoothly for awhile. I no longer had this serious debt hanging over my head and life went back to normal.

I continued to study and read for another 5 years - everything I could get my hands on.

Sure enough I found myself in another "financial situation." No big deal, right? I had done it before, I could do it again. The only problem was I couldn't remember exactly how I did it! It had been 5 years earlier!! I couldn't remember what thoughts I had had back then at the time, I couldn't remember what affirmations or meditations I had used. I couldn't remember the level of energy I was vibrating out.

I had read so much more different kinds on information in the meantime that I couldn't remember "the exact magic formula" that had worked for me the first time.

Now don't get me wrong. There are a million ways to manifest money, and I did manifest it again, but this time it took a little longer. And I am sure that the only reason for the delay was because I was so busy being frustrated about not remembering my "first" way, that I ended up blocking my own creative abilities (Oh well, another lesson learned).

So don't let that happen to you. Write down the miracles as they happen. Exactly what you are thinking when they happen. This way you can begin to recognize your own "manifesting blueprint" and see what works so well for you personally.

Another good reason for having this "miracle" list is simple.

We all have our ups and downs. Some days we are vibrating so high and then others… maybe not so much.

This 5th section is perfect for those "not so much" days.

It's really great to get inspired by the writings of others. But nothing will be as authentic to you than your own words and experiences written in your own "voice".

If you are having a particularly hard time manifesting something and are feeling a little doubtful, simply go to this 5th section and be reminded just how many times Universe has come through for you before.

Remind yourself of the vibrational level you were at when these manifestations happened. Remember the "spiritual high" you felt when these things materialized.

You will find that your confidence and belief will skyrocket when you have a clear list of 100 different times that Universe came through for you. Every time it gave you that parking spot you visualized, introduced you to the right person you needed at the right time, gave you the money that you needed or the information exactly when you asked for it.

So get started now! Start your Spiritual Growth Journal today.

Who knows? Maybe one day you'll have enough inspiring information to print your own book on the subject to inspire others.

Get Outta My Pie!

If you are a fan of Abraham-Hicks you may have heard them mention the idea of "getting out of someone else's pie" and focusing on your own.

Their basic premise behind the thought is that this Earth (actually the entire Universe for that matter) is like the most fully stocked kitchen that ever existed.

Every ingredient that can be had is available for each person to create whatever pie they are wanting.

Every person has the same access to each of these ingredients and each person is naturally entitled to all of these ingredients in any way they see fit.

No one is more or less entitled to these ingredients than anybody else.

All of these ingredients constantly replenish themselves so there is always enough for everyone - and sometimes even new ingredients are created "out of thin air" for the good of all to partake.

It is such a simple concept. So easy to understand. Now if we can only apply it to human nature.

You see, if you like Cherry pie - you are entitled to Cherry Pie simply because you desire it. You have all of the ingredients at your fingertips to make your Cherry pie, and it is none of anyone else's business if that is the pie you decide to create.

But now imagine that someone else (even a very close loved one) likes Pumpkin pie. And because they like Pumpkin pie, they think you should like Pumpkin Pie as well. And it doesn't matter to them if you don't like like the taste of it or have no desire for it. They like it and that is all that counts as far as they are concerned!

Imagine if that were an argument that were really to happen around your Thanksgiving table this year.

You would be tempted to throw that Pumpkin Pie right in their face.

"Good for you!" You would tell them. "You like Pumpkin pie! Eat all the pie you want! But no amount of yelling or browbeating is going to make me ever want it or like it so leave me alone and go eat your pie! I'm in the mood for Cherry!"

And there you go.

So simple…but not.

Does this sound familiar to you in your life? Do you constantly have others telling you what "pie" you should eat as if you don't know your own desires? Telling you that there is only one "pie" that is the right "pie" and that there must be something wrong with you if you don't agree with them?

When it comes to political discussions, religious beliefs, how to raise your children, where you live, your career, your dreams, your desires?

Do they make you feel guilty simply because you desire Cherry instead of Pumpkin? Who says that Pumpkin is the only way to go?

Now how about you? Do you find yourself trying to shove your "pie" down someone else's throat? Do you find yourself spending your days upset or uptight about the personal decisions that others are making, because you believe they are doing "it" wrong?

If so, it is time to get your fingers out of that person's pie and gently slap their fingers away from yours.

All the "ingredients" are available for everyone to use exactly as they see fit to create whatever they desire.

Also remember that every single ingredient you can ever need to create your fantasy dessert sits in directly in front of you now. You are as naturally entitled to them as anyone else.

So if you would like to live a more peaceful and easy going life - go into your "kitchen" and work on creating your own "dream pie" and let others do the same.

It is the instant recipe for more peace in your life.

Inspiring Abraham-Hicks Quotes

Good Morning Everyone!

I was just working on my newly revised newsletter (you can sign up on the left side of this page if you would like to receive it) and was looking for some inspirational quotes from one of my favorite teachers Abraham-Hicks. There are so many good ones that I felt inspired to put some of them up for you today.

Never face reality unless it matches what you want.
- Abraham-Hicks

If you've got somebody's aspects in your experience that you don't like, there's only one reason they're there. You keep evoking them with your attention to them. Without knowing about Law of Attraction, you have -- through your old habit of observation -- achieved vibrational harmony with the parts of them that you do not like, and you keep summoning those parts from them by your constant vibrational offering of them.
- Abraham-Hicks

Nothing is more important than you feel good. Period. It is not necessary to focus on feeling good about oneself, focus on feeling good; period. It is not necessary to feel good about your body, or about your financial situation; find thoughts that make you feel good. Period.
- Abraham-Hicks

Just love everybody that interacts with you no matter how personally, or how peripherally, involved with you they are. The efficiency of the people who deal with you... everything is orchestrated by the manager called Law of Attraction. And your vibration is setting all of it into motion. Everything affecting you is a reflection of the vibration that you are emitting. Spend more time focused upon your dream than upon the reality. The reality gives birth to the dream -- but the dream is where you are wanting to put your attention.
- Abraham-Hicks

When you desire with belief, it's happening. When you desire with hope, it's happening slower. When you desire with doubt, it's so slow, you might as well think about something else.
- Abraham-Hicks

We enjoy seeing our physical friends living situations not wanted, then DELIBERATELY modifying their focus, thereby shifting the way they FEEL, thereby changing their point of attraction - and thereby recieving different, more satisfying results. There is great satisfaction in doing that.
- Abraham-Hicks

You attract by your vibration. Everything in the Universe is experiencing the powerful Law of attraction...And when you are vibrating in pain, you cannot attract joy. The vibration of pain attracts only pain. The vibration of joy attracts joy, the vibration of illness attracts illness...The Law IS, and the wonderful thing is that once you understand the Law, and you are sensitive enough to feel how you are vibrating, then you have control of your experience.
- Abraham-Hicks

Within the seed of your desire is everything necessary for it to blossom to fulfillment. And Law of Attraction is the engine that does the work. Your work is just to give it a fertile growing place in order to expand.
- Abraham-Hicks

"The thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment, of that which you want. And likewise, the thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you do not want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment, of that which you do NOT want."

"As you are feeling positive emotion - such as love, peace, happiness, joy, excitement, exhilaration ... it is your Inner Being communicating to you in that moment that you are feeling the emotion - that your thoughts are in harmony with that which you are wanting, As you are experiencing negative emotion - such as fear or doubt, anger, hatred, jealousy, stress, guilt, anxiety .. it is a communication from your Inner Being telling you that in that moment - that which you are focused upon is not in harmony with what you are wanting."

"A belief is nothing more than a thought that you have thought before, that you continue to think."

I hope some of these quotes inspired you as well. Now making the tough decision of which ones to include in my newsletter…..

Have an awesome day!
