Fun Manifestation

Good Morning Everyone!

Had an awesome (and just plain fun) manifestation that I wanted to share with you. My husband and I have just received a fairly generous income tax refund and we were talking about what we should spend some of the money on.

We’ve been flowing pretty nicely with the money manifesting lately so we decided we would treat ourselves to a gift or two and put the rest away.

I decided to buy myself the entire Bob Ross Starter Paint set. (For those of you who don’t know, Bob Ross was an awesome landscape painter that used to be on PBS television. He could create the most beautiful landscapes in under 30 minutes and it was something I always wanted to try.) It cost me about $250.00 to get everything from the easel to the paints (canvasses, brushes etc.)

My husband decided he wanted to buy himself a 46” Flat Screen television (men!) but the $1,600 for the television was a little more than he wanted to pay. He did some research online and found that he could get a refurbished 46” Flat Screen Aquos for around $700 which made more sense to him. He really liked the Aquos and decided to do a little more research before committing. This had happened on the Saturday before Superbowl Sunday.

Later that same Saturday afternoon we went to the supermarket together to pick up some food and beer to bring to a Superbowl party we were attending the next day. While my husband was looking for the food items, I went to get the beer and noticed this huge raffle display from Budweiser in the beer section. The prize? A 46“ Aquos Flatscreen television!

Hey! I am no Law of Attraction novice here -- I know when to take a hint! Especially when it was the EXACT television that he had decided he wanted that very morning.

Sure enough, I filled out a single raffle ticket with his name on it. This past Monday we got the call - HE WON!!

At first we thought that maybe this was a fairly small giveaway but have since found out that this was a country wide raffle! Budweiser had been running the promotion for quite a few months, even on the internet. Talk about a fun manifestation!

So keep your eyes open for possibilities and those positive thoughts flowing! You truly have no idea in what fun ways Universe will decide to deliver.

Happy Creating!

Law of Attraction Manifestation Exercise #29 - The Self Appreciation List

So, you want the Law of Attraction to work for you. You ask Universe (or your higher self, if your prefer) for a list of things that you would like to attract into your life, but time and time again they don't seem to be forthcoming.

You have probably already tried working on your thoughts, said a ton of affirmations, created a vision board and a bunch of other exercises. And while you see miracles happen once in awhile, they don't seem to happen nearly often enough or last long enough to make a permanent change in your life.

If this is true for you, then it is time to ask yourself this one serious question: What makes you think you deserve it?

What makes you think you deserve the perfect job, perfect relationship, perfect friendships, an abundance of money, a peaceful spiritual life? Can you answer that question?

If not, then this is the exercise is for you!

You see, in the eyes of Universe you are entitled to all of those things simply by existing. Simply by BEING. Since the day you were delivered on this planet you have been naturally entitled to enjoy every single thing this planet has to offer. No one has more of a right to it than you do.

So if it is not Universe that is keeping it from you (and it really isn't) than what is preventing these things from happening?

I'll ask you the question again. What makes you think you deserve it?

You see too often we do not give ourselves nearly enough credit for all that we do. We put things in the "have to" category and forget that all the wonderful things we do everyday for others are actually "choices" we choose to make.

For instance:

I "have to" go to work to pay the bills. No, actually you don't "have to" - you choose to keep your family safe and comfortable.

I "have to" take care of my kids. No you don't "have to". Technically you could skip out tomorrow. The fact of the matter is you choose to because you love them.

I "have to" clean the house, "have to" visit my parents, "have to" go food shopping, etc.

The truth is you don't "have to" do any of those things. There is no one standing over you with a gun to your head. These are choices you are making for the benefit of yourself and others.

So the question now is, why aren't you giving yourself credit for them?.

Why are you letting this pesky little critter called "ego" go on and on about all the reasons you should feel bad or guilty or undeserving and not give you credit for the 100 or so things you do every day that are positive?

That is where this exercise comes in. It is time to beat "ego" at its own game. It is time to override all those negatives with hundred of positives every week. And you're going do it again and again and again until it finally gets the message that you are not a bad person but an awesome one who works hard and it entitled to anything it asks for.

So how are you going to do this.? Simple. You are going to write an I Am Proud Of Myself List.

And you are going to do this every day until your ego finally gets it.

For instance:

I am proud of myself for going to work today even though I would have rather slept in.
I am proud of myself for getting my kids ready for school, even if I wasn't in the mood.
I am proud of myself for cleaning the house, even though I would have rather read a book.
I am proud of myself for going to the PTA meeting for my children's benefit even though I would have rather have stayed in and watched T.V.

And so on and so on.

I am proud of myself that I paid that bill, I am proud of myself I gave my friend that ride, I am proud of myself for thinking of my parents and going for a visit.

You will not believe how quickly this will start to make you feel better and more deserving all the way to your core!.

Now you might ask "what if I can't come up with things to be proud of?" Piece of cake!

Use your to-do list. If you don't normally keep a to-do list - start one now!

And everyday write out a list of what you do all day long. Such as:

Wake the kids
Make them breakfast
Get them to school
Ger ready for work
Start this project
Make those copies
Mail those bills
Call this friend
Run this errand
Call this bank
Pick up dinner
Cook dinner
Do homework with the kids, etc.

Mark off these things as you go along your day. (Extra benefit is that you will be much more organized as well as feel more accomplished.)

But now you will have your whole list in front of you of things you should be proud of. Choices you have made and followed through on, even if you didn't really feel like doing them.

Now the important part of this exercise is to write or type out the entire sentence of I Am Proud Of Myself for __________.

Don't just write that once and then list things underneath. Make sure you write out the complete sentence for every line. You are going to get this into your subconscious if it likes it or not! It is time for ego to learn its lesson!! And every day you are going to tell it "I am proud of myself for… I am proud of myself for…I am proud of myself for…". And you are going to start feeling as deserving as you naturally are.

Then watch how quickly your desires will manifest!. When you prove to yourself how deserving you really are - there will then be no resistance or pushing away when Universe naturally delivers what you have asked for.

Plus there is also the immediate benefit of simply making yourself feel good, giving yourself credit for jobs well done. You will find that even doing this exercise only once or twice will immediately make you feel better and more deserving.

So go for it today! You do deserve whatever you want to create in this life. Now prove it to your self.

Happy Creating!

Law of Attraction Manifestation Exercise #28 - Mastering The Art of Allowing

One of the hardest concepts to deal with when it comes to the Law of Attraction is the part about allowing. We are told that we are supposed to state our desires, believe that they are being brought to us then step aside and "allow" it to happen. But as you have probably seen for yourself this can sometimes be extremely hard to do.

It is hard to stop "wanting" something when you really want it. But the paradox here is that just the act of "wanting" infers to the Universe that you do not have it yet. Which thereby keeps it from you.

It can be so frustrating…I know!

The simple fact is: Allowing Takes Practice.

Most of us have never learned how to simply allow. Our whole lives we've been taught to work harder, fight harder, be better, improve ourselves, change things when we don't like them, take some kind of action.

And while in some instances we should do some of those things, it has become such a habit that we now don't know how to turn if off. It's like having your fingers in one of those Chinese handcuffs toys. The harder you pull - the tighter it gets - meanwhile if we would just relax, it would release us easily.

Think about it. When was the last time you simply allowed something to simply BE without feeling you had to change it, improve it, fix it, or wish that it was something different?

So this exercise is very simple. For the next few days learn to "allow" everything in your life to simply just "be" what it is. Without anger, without criticism, without wishing it was something else.

For instance, your current job. What are your normal thoughts around it? Do you wish you were getting paid more, do your normally complain about the lack of recognition that you receive, wish you had a different boss or any of the other million things that you believe make it unsatisfactory?

What if, just for the next few days, you were to just "let the job be what it is" and not let any negative thoughts in about it?

What if when you woke up tomorrow morning you said to yourself "You know something? This job simply "is" and I don't have to get into it any deeper than that."

Can you feel the immense relief that comes with that? Can you feel the weight instantly fall off your shoulders that for even just the next few days you don't need to mentally struggle with your thoughts? You don't need to do anything, change anything, fight for anything or fix anything. For the next few days you can just let the job "be what it is" and that's it.

The same goes for your relationships. The relationship with your parents, your siblings, your friends, your spouse, your children, your boss. For the next few days, simply allow the relationships to "simply be what they are." Drop the inner struggle. Stop worrying about not being close enough, or understanding each other more, or having to do anything to want to fix or improve the relationship. Relieve yourself of the mental pressures you normally put on yourself about how you want things to be different and just let the relationship be "what it is."

Do the same for your money concerns, your physical appearance, chores that need to be accomplished that you normally don't want to do. Give yourself a mental break and simply accept that they "just are" and that is fine and there is nothing you need to do to change them.

This may be a lot harder than it sounds at first, but once you do it, you will actually feel the relief in your physical body. Your shoulders will relax, your chest will feel like it is opening a little, you will feel the tension ease from your neck.

Just let it all go.

After a few days of practicing this in all areas of your life, then you can go back and decide on what things you would like to tweak a little.

One at a time and with Universe's help!

So now decide on the thing you would like to change the most.

Write it down as a task for Universe to take care of. Such as:

"Universe I choose to create $10,000. I know you will effortlessly bring me tons of opportunities to do this and I will easily recognize these opportunities when they are in front of me. I will feel the call to follow these leads and I know it will be effortless. Thank you."

Then let it go and practice your "allowing" again.

Know that Universe is now working in the background bringing this to fruition and the only thing you need to do is keep your eyes open for the opportunities that are going to present themselves to you.

Remember there does not need to be a mental fight or struggle in this. As a matter of fact it is just the opposite. The more relaxed you are and the less resistance you have, the quicker it is delivered.

As for the other things going on in your life - just let them be until it is time to make a request to Universe to change them as well.

Life in not meant to be the struggle most of us make it. Allowing takes practice, but when you have mastered it, you find yourself feeling much more relaxed and satisfied. The dissatisfaction you constantly feel is simply the resistance you create to what "is". If you learn to live without judging everything in your life as good or bad - if you learn to simply just "be" and learn to accept things just as they "simply are" you will release the resistance that has been holding you back from getting what you want.

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #27 - Attracting The Perfect Love Partner or Relationship

This is an exercise designed to help you attract "the" dream relationship you have always wanted. It might get a little lengthy (the article and the exercise) but can be extremely enlightening. So here we go.

The first thing you are going to do is analyze your past relationships. What was right with, as well as what was wrong with each one of them, and how it effected you personally.

You are going to go as far back as your first crush at 10 years old.

So now in chronological order (as much as you remember anyway) you are going to give a separate notebook page or word processing document to each person.

On Each Page you are going to write the persons name on top and then these 4 sections:

1. Negatives
2. Positives
3. Worst Memories of things that happened between the two of you
4. Best Memories of things that happened

You see one of the most important ingredients in using the Law of Attraction is knowing "exactly" what it is you are wanting. How can Universe bring you the "perfect" relationship when you have never gotten laser beam clear on what the "perfect" relationship to you would be?

Believe me, by the time you have finished the first part of this exercise - you will definitely have a better idea.

O.K. So here we go.

Write out all the negative qualities about this person that you didn't like. For example:

Negative:

Selfish
Irresponsible
Too Clingy
Too Flirty
Unreliable
Irresponsible
Too much into shopping
Too much into sports, etc.
(Remember - this has to do with what felt negative to you personally - not how others might think abut it)

Postives

Funny
Daring
Generous
Intelligent
Challenging
Attractive
Same Interest etc.
(Again this has to do with what "you" enjoyed about the person - not what your best friends or your mother thinks you should enjoy)

Now list the most negative memories that you have had with this particular person

The time they cheated on me
The time they embarrassed me in front of my friends or family
The time they didn't show up for….
The time they lied to me about….

Now I have to tell you. This might get a little detailed. Some of these things might still cause you embarrassment or even pain. But you need to get this stuff out in the open. You don't want to bury it inside of you or ignore it and I will tell you why. If you have an unconscious fear of these things happening again and you are consciously or unconsciously "worried" about it happening again - guess what chances are you will draw to you again? If you keep putting out the energy "I don’t want them to cheat, I don't want them to cheat" look at what your focus is on! The person cheating. Think of this part as cathartic. As you write down each bad memory, imagine that you are now expunging it from your experience just by the act of writing it down.

Next write about all the positive memories you have about the relationship.

The time they surprised me with….
The laughs we had when……
How they used to bring me coffee every morning..
Love notes they would leave around…
Great phone sex…

Whatever… you get the picture.

Now do this for every person you were involved with romantically.

O.K. Now you have your blueprint right in front of you. You know what you do and don't want.

Now you are going to start a new page. On this page you are going to write:

What Universe Is Happily Delivering To Me in The Perfect Partner

Now go back to all of your lists and write down all the things that were listed in your positive aspect categories. Then write:

The person I am going to be in a relationship with is going to be:

Funny
Daring
Generous
Intelligent
Challenging
Attractive
Have the same interest, etc.

Take all of the positives from all of the lists (because some people had good qualities that others didn't and you want them all!)

After this list is put together, add whatever things that maybe you never had from someone but always wanted.

Note: Just be careful how you write this. If you want your dream person to look like George Clooney or Pam Anderson don't write that. Write that you would like to be "as attracted" to them as you are to George or Pam. Because let's get real - there aren't too many George's or Pam's around. But if you have the same level of physical attraction towards your dream person - what does it matter what their actual physical characteristics are?

O.K. Now you are laser-beam clear on what you want.

Next step:

Put that paper aside for the moment and take out a fresh sheet.

On this one you are going to write:

If the perfect person were to show up right now I would need to:

Lose 20 pounds
Clean or paint my apartment
Clean out my car
Get them a fresh toothbrush
Make room in a drawer of closet for them at my house
Buy new sexy underwear or pajamas they could see me in
Etc.

Now let me tell you why this is important. I have written a previous post about how a girlfriend and I discovered this little trick quite by accident.

Even though she kept saying she was ready for her dream relationship there were actually a million reasons why she "technically" wasn't. She had a whole list of things she wanted to improve, or even worse, felt she would have to hide from her dream person. (Her messy apartment, her Hello Kitty bed sheets, etc.)

So even though she was saying she was ready, unconsciously she had a laundry list of reasons why she really wasn't.

We found out that it was that "list" that was holding her back from meeting "him".

So ask yourself that same question. If your dream person were to show up tomorrow would you be ready for them? Would you be proud to show them where you live? Do you have room for them where you live so they could have a drawer or closet in your place if you wanted them to stay over. Would you be comfortable walking around naked in front of them? Would you be proud to show them how and what you eat? Feel any need to hide a bad habit from them, smoking or excessive drinking or whatever?

You see the time to address these issues is now! You do not have to wait for them to actually show up before going into "impression overdrive". If there is something you would do different in your life to make things better for your new partner, then start physically preparing for their arrival now!

Join that gym, lose that weight, clean your place up!

There are actually three benefits to this. The first is that you are not only telling Universe what you are wanting - you are physically taking action that shows you are so sure your dream person is on its way that you getting ready for it.

The second benefit is that if any of these "bad habits" have unconsciously held you back from attracting that person, you are eliminating those unconscious road blocks.

The third benefit is if you feel that you want to make any of these changes for another person - it means that even without realizing it - these changes are important to you as well, otherwise you wouldn't care about making them in the first place.

So by doing them now, you will automatically be making yourself feel better. You will feel stronger, cleaner, more organized, you will look better. Your mental vibration will increase and it is from this higher level that you want to be vibrating at when attracting your dream partner.

O.K. So now where are we?

We have two lists. The one that shows exactly what you want in a relationship and a second that shows the actions you are going to start taking to be "ready" for that person.

On To Step Three: (The most important and quite possibly the most difficult step)

Get busy enjoying every moment of your life right now and forget about the actual who, where and when you are going to meet this person.

You see, you have already done the two most important parts of making Law of Attraction work.

You have gotten clear on what you want and have asked for it
You have gotten yourself ready to receive it
The third step is now in Universe's hands - the delivery of it.

Now get out of your own way and let Universe do its thing!

By sitting around worrying or trying to force the issue, you are doing exactly the opposite of what you should be doing to attract!

By thinking "I still haven't met them!" you are attracting "not meeting them!" By worrying about them "not showing up yet" you are attracting "not showing up yet".

And then of coarse there is the "desperation scent" We have all put it out there at one time or another, just as most of us have also been on the receiving end.

The pushy, needy, too much - too soon feeling. Desperation on the person wanting it - suffocation for the person on the receiving end. Remember we are energetic beings. We can read the energy coming from others even if it is subconscious.

Let it go and start appreciating all the great things that exist in your life right NOW! Don't worry - the right person will show up!

Look at it this way, who would you be more attracted to? The lonely desperate person sitting in the corner, or the happy, busy, purposeful one who is enjoying every moment in life?!

Or even looking at it this way. If you meet that person tomorrow, you are a great person to be around. If you don't meet that person for a few months, you are still a great person to be around!!

Either way you win and you are happy!

So go and do your lists and remember to follow the order.

Ask, be ready to receive and then get out of Universe's way! You'll be with your dream person before you know it.

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #26 - Losing Weight With The Law of Attraction

The first question is: Can you lose weight by using the Law of Attraction? The answer? Absolutely!

The next question is: Can you lose weight just by thinking "thin thoughts"? The answer? Again absolutely! However…

You knew that "however" would be there didn't you? That's O.K. There's no sense in denying it. Because chances are you didn't believe it when you read it anyway. You may want to believe it, but deep down it sounds a little too good to be true.

The good news however, is that it really isn't so far off the mark.

And that is what this article is about. A "real" way to lose weight using the Law of Attraction.

Now I don’t want you to be discouraged. Yes, there will be a little action required on your part for the whole weight loss thing to happen, but it will not be nearly as painful as you "think". And the simple reason is because the most important thing we are going to address is the way you "think".

In other words, you are going to learn how to start "thinking thin".

The difference however, is that you are not going to do this in any kind of phony way. You are not going to "think" one way, yet act another and therefore feel as if you are just lying to yourself.

What you are going to do is take at least three or four little physical actions every day combined with "correct thought" that is really going to get that weight loss momentum going.

O.K now I am going to need you to bear with me for a few moments. I am going to list the physical actions you need to take first - then the mental changes - and then we will get to the fun stuff. How to combine them to make them truly effective.

So please do not groan. As you look at each of these physical steps you will realize just how simple they really are. None of them are the least bit expensive, time consuming or difficult. You can easily slip them into you day without even thinking about it.

Physical Steps:

1. Drink More Water. That 's easy enough right? First of all, water is filling. Especially if you drink it right before a meal. It makes you feel fuller and you eat less. Second of all your body needs water. If you normally don't drink enough your body will retain it for future use. Drink more and your body will let it flow through you easily. Plus it constantly cleans out your system. Even your skin will look better when you add more fresh water to your diet.

2. Drink Green Tea - Not only is it naturally filled with antioxidants it is also a natural weight loss inducer. You can use caffeinated or decaffeinated. You can drink it hot or cold. And if you are not crazy about its natural flavor, it now comes in a ton of different flavors you can try (beware of sugar factors however). Be sure to drink at least 3 or 4 cups or bottles a day. Again harmless and easy - but very effective and keeps your body running like a well oiled machine.

3. Take vitamin supplements - The more vitamins - the more efficiently your body thrives - the better you feel - the more energy you have - the more calories you burn! Again very simple. Put these vitamins next to your toothbrush to remind you to take them everyday. - Another quickie - takes 10 seconds.

4. Eat Slower. Another solution that takes almost no effort on your part and in fact makes your meals much more enjoyable. Every time you take a bite of your food, let yourself completely enjoy the experience. Roll it around on your tongue. Enjoy the flavor of it, the texture. Take time to be thankful for the awesome morsel.

Not only does it make your meals so much more enjoyable, but it will also help you to lose weight. The reason being is that it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register that you're full. If you eat fast, you can continue eating past the point where are in fact, full. If you eat slowly, you have time to realize you are full, and stop on time.

Plus if you slow down, eventually you will simply get tired of eating. If it normally takes you 15 minutes to scoff down an entire meal but now it takes you the same amount of time to eat only half of it - simply out of habit you will be ready to put your fork down at that 15 minute time limit.

5. Always leave a little food on your plate. You may have heard this one before, but believe it or not it actually works! Especially for this particular exercise. Not only are you consuming many less calories over a period of time by doing this every meal, but you are also giving yourself some positive reinforcement as you go along. You will feel much better when you feel as if you didn't just eat your meal "like a pig" but like a real civilized person.

It will also simply reinforce your positive actions towards weight loss each time you push your plate away with a little food left on it. You can say to yourself "See? See how good I am? I didn't have to eat all of it, but I still enjoyed it! - I did good"

6. Eat Smaller Portions More Often. You might have heard of this before as well, but it also works. Like the water example mentioned above, if you continuously replenish your body with what it needs - it will have no reason to keep anything in reserve and will get rid of it. 5 or 6 small meals a day (as opposed to only 2 or 3 huge ones) will give it this constant replenishment.

6. Deep Breathing. Can you lose weight simply by breathing? Again, believe it or not yes! When you learn to breathe properly. If you go online you can find a ton of good deep breathing exercises to try. How will this effect weight loss? That extra oxygen you are gifting your body with is now moving through your bloodstream, slightly increasing your flow, and getting rid of excess waste and fat. All that in a matter of seconds! Again - quick, easy and painless.

7. Exercise. You knew this had to come into it eventually - but this too can be painless and easy. Walking is awesome! Simply incorporate a little more if it into your day. If you take the bus to work simply get off a stop before and walk the rest of the way. Instead of eating at the office cafeteria, go out someplace you can walk back and forth to. Do you have a store 8 blocks away that you normally drive to - or is your kids' school about that far away? Walk instead of driving to get them.(They will enjoy it too - because they will get more one on one time with you as well.) Just do a little something everyday that makes you feel good and positive about yourself. It does not have to be a full hour at the gym (unless you have the option to do that as well. Obviously if you do - go for it!)

8. Eat Better. This is probably the only physical thing that might require a few moments of your time. But even then it will only take you about 15 minutes a week. Put Simply - Plan Your Diet.

It is no mystery why programs like Jenny Craig works so well when it comes to dieting. It is simply because it is so much easier to eat well when you have the proper foods right in front of you for easy access.

So make up your own plan. Pick the healthy foods you do enjoy and build a weeks worth of menus around them. Take chicken or fish for instance. Go online and find 4 or 5 healthy recipes you can make with them. Write down all the ingredients. Buy them at the grocery store all in one shot. This way everything you need is on hand when you need it.

If you would like to take it one step further and spend a little more time each week then take a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon and prepare your meals in advance. Put them into individual servings and put them in the fridge or freezer. That simple act will ensure you are eating well all week long!

You will totally eliminate the problem of eating junk food or fast food due to lack of time or because you are always on the run.

Also fill the fridge with the fruits you like, with yogurt, with fresh vegetables you can throw in mini zip locks and can take on the run with you.

Do not make a bigger deal out of this than it is. Simply decide to do it once a week and learn to enjoy the process. Watch television or listen to your favorite music while you are doing it. Learn how to truly enjoy the art of cooking.

O.K. So now we have addressed the simple and easy physical steps. Almost all of them take no time at all and are easy to incorporate into your day.

Now we will address the changes you are going to make mentally:

1. Affirmations: You need to come up with a good one that you are going to use at least 3 times a day. Such as: "I am getting thinner and healthier every minute" or "I feel thinner and healthier already" Or even "Wow! I really am getting thinner every day!" Make sure that whichever one you choose makes you feel really good, because like I said, you are going to be saying it at least 3 times a day to yourself every day.

Once as soon as you wake up - at least once during the day and especially once before you to go bed at night.

2. Walk Around "Feeling" thinner:

How would you feel if you were your perfect weight right now? Would you stand taller? Shoulders back? Would you walk lighter with more bounce or stride more powerfully? Feel your clothes moving easier on your body? How would your face look? Imagine your jaw or cheekbones more defined. As you sit in your chair at work or move around all day continuously feel as if you already are your perfect weight.

When you talk to people, imagine they are looking at this thinner face that is more defined. Suck in your cheeks just a bit when you are working on the computer feeling how your newly defined face feels to you personally. Feel sexy when you are driving. When you are in bed at night imagine lying there with your flat abs and perfectly muscled legs. Move as if you already have those desired body parts. Move them slowly - sensuously - as you shift positions to get comfortable. Truly "feel" absolutely perfect inside and out!

3.Fantasize

Come up with a great fantasy you can think about right before you go to sleep at night.

So what is your fantasy scenario when you have this perfect body? As a man do you imagine the great looking beauty next door catching your muscles gleaming as you work in your backyard unable to look away from you? As a woman do you imagine your dream guy not being able to take his eyes off of you as you stand in your slinky dress at a cocktail party? How about meeting your "movie star" crush in the most unusual circumstances and they are so totally attracted to you. Do you dream of your spouse unable to stop looking at you or unable to keep their hands off of you? Maybe its just your friends looking at you in amazement asking you how you did it, or how you plan on looking for your 20 year reunion. Go for a fantasy that simply makes you feel really good, excited and accomplished.

Now that you have decided on your affirmation, how you "feel" and look physically and your fantasy - we are going to put it all together with the physical actions and make it work.

Here Goes:

You wake up in the morning and say your first affirmation "I am thinner and healthier already!".
You take your vitamins and think - "this is keeping me thinner and healthier"
You drink your first glass of green tea "this is keeping me thinner and healthier"
You get dressed and "feel" thin
You walk lighter, stronger, shoulders back "I already feel like I am my perfect weight"
You feel your clothes shifting comfortably loose around you.
Your face feels more defined and you already "feel" more attractive
You eat your first small meal of the day "this is keeping me thinner and healthier"
You drink another glass of water "this is keeping me feeling thinner and healthier"
You remember to do a deep breathing exercise "this is makming me feel thinner and healthier
You get off the bus stop one stop earlier. As you are walking you are thinking "this is making me thinner and healthier - as a matter of fact I feel great!"
As you sit at your desk you slightly suck in your cheeks - you sit taller "I really look and feel great!"
You walk to lunch "this is making me feel thinner and healthier"
You eat very slowly "Every single bite of this meal is absolutely delicious!"
You leave some food on your plate "Wow, I am completely full, I enjoyed every bite and by not finishing I am know I am getting thinner and healthier"
You have another cup of green tea "this is making me feel thinner and healthier"
You restate your affirmation "I am thinner and healthier already!" a few times during the day
Continue on your day. Keep saying, thinking and doing these little things that are making you feel so much better.
Then as you "gracefully" slip your beautiful healthy body into your bed at night you think about one of your fantasies. How good you look to that dream person. The look of appreciation in their eyes when they look at you, how good and strong and powerful you feel and you know that tomorrow you will look and feel even better!

The next day start again. This time incorporate a few different things into your day. Skip the tea but replace a meal with a health drink. Use the same kinds of words all the time while doing these things like "this is making me thinner and healthier"

So now what thoughts are you going to have when you have just eaten that really fattening meal or had those few drinks? You are going to think "So what? I also drank my water today that is helping me be thinner, took my vitamins today that is making me thinner, took my walk today that is making me be thinner. I used to eat fattening meals all the time - but back then I didn't ever do anything to counteract it. Now I do things all day long to make myself healthy - so a good meal certainly isn't going to hurt me!"

You see there is no reason for negativity, guilt or self loathing here. As long as you are doing constant positive things throughout your day that are helping you feel good, of coarse you are allowed to enjoy the fattening stuff once in awhile.

After all, life isn't supposed to be torture! All it requires is a healthier balance. Stay good most of the time, think positively all of the time and allow yourself to enjoy the heck out of the good stuff when it becomes available.

Now there is only one no-no when it comes to this exercise.

Do not ever get on a scale!

Here is the deal. As you have probably realized when you first start a diet, the weight comes off fairly quickly. After awhile however it will slow down and your body will reach a plateau where it levels out for awhile.

Getting on a scale at this point is like a death sentence!

There is almost no way to ever remain positive when that needle stops moving. That is when all the sabotaging thoughts come in. When you will start saying to yourself "but I did this and this and this. Why bother if it isn't working? It's all a waste of time, etc."

Do not ever give yourself that opportunity to sabotage yourself. As long as you stay away from that scale you will never be aware if and when that plateau period hits and you will continue to lose weight and feel better about yourself every day. Don't worry. You will know when it is working. When your clothes are swimming on you, when the compliments start coming from every direction, when someone takes a picture of you and for the first time you don't want to rip it up. You don't need no stinkin' scale!

And so there it is. How to really lose weight using the Law of Attraction. A much longer post than I originally intended but I think we got just about everything covered.

The most important part of this exercise is the constant reminder to yourself of all the good you are doing all day long. Constant…constant…constant! If all of your time and thoughts are on what you are wanting to create there will be no time or room for any of the old doubts to come through.

So go and get your weight loss momentum going! Believe me it is very addicting and has the strangest side effect of making you feel better in other areas of your life as well.

It is amazing how constant positive thoughts can change just about everything!

Manifestation Exercise #25 - Keeping a Spiritual Growth Journal

Don’t you just love it when you read something that gives you that A-ha moment - a great moment of clarity -- a “why didn’t that ever dawn on my before?” moment?

Don’t you just hate it when two days later you completely forget what the awe-inspiring thought was that caused that feeling?

Don’t worry - it is totally normal, especially when you are in spiritual growth mode.

We’ve all had those moments where something “clicks” inside of us and makes us feel so positive and optimistic, that at the time we think we can’t possibly forget what that message was.

Then a few days after being distracted by the “real world” we find we can’t get that feeling back or even remember what “idea” turned us on in the first place.

That’s where creating a spiritual journal comes in. If you haven’t already started one, there is no better time than the present.

There are a few different ways to do this. It depends on the style you are most comfortable with.

If you like the act of physical writing:

A brand new 5 Subject Notebook is the way to go. Be sure to buy one specifically for this purpose. Buy one with a fancy cover or color you really connect with or cover it with pictures you enjoy. Make this book really special.

Now give a separate category to the first 3 sections. The 1st section could be about Attracting Money, the 2nd Relationships, the 3rd physical health, etc. Pick the first 3 that are most important to you in their order of importance. Save the 4th section for miscellaneous. Just thoughts or quotes that inspire or make you feel good. Inspirational website addresses that you don't want to forget - even pictures that make you feel good. And then there is the all important 5th section. This is where you are going to put down all your miracles and synchronistic events (more on this later).

If You Prefer The Computer:

Set up a main folder with an Inspiring Title and then do the same as listed above. Create 3 Subfolders regarding the subjects most important to you, a 4th for Miscellaneous and then the 5th for "miracles".

The reason for the category separation is because you are going to fill up these pages faster than you ever dreamed possible. So in the future, whenever you need a little inspiration regarding a specific problem, you will immediately be able to get your quick fill of page after page of perfect material that will boost you up regarding that one subject.

Now as to where you get your information. Obviously this will vary as well.

If you buy your own books and read in transit - a highlighter pen is obviously the easiest way to go. Simply highlight the paragraphs or sentences that specifically mean something to you. (A fun perk with this is when you go back to the book a year or two later and find that what you considered as a big "A-ha" moment then - is now something you take for granted. I can't tell you how many times I would say to myself "Wow! That was an idea I thought was earth shattering?! I now live by that principle every day without thinking about it.")

If you get your material from the library or you borrowed the book from someone else those little post it tags are perfect. They are small enough to carry in your pocket or purse and are even reusable. They are also so thin that you can easily place them on the paragraph or sentence that inspired you for easy locating later that evening.

One of the best things you can do is keep a little mini notebook with you -so not only can you write down what inspired you - but also your thoughts on how it applies to your situation directly. (A very important part of the exercise later.)

Magazines are pretty much a no-brainer. Just rip out the article or fold the top for easy locating.

And if you get your information from the internet or websites - again quite easy. Simply copy and paste it into your designated folder or document.

Now the two most important part of this exercise.

1. Transferring this information over to your notebook or computer.

I highly recommend you do this on a daily basis, preferable right before bedtime. There is no better way to let these fresh ideas sink into your subconscious than letting them be the last things you think about before going to sleep.

Also doing it daily keeps it from becoming a burden. You don't want to wait until you have a whole book of post-its before typing or writing it down because then it will become "work".

Another benefit of doing it everyday is the momentum you will create by reinforcing these ideas constantly. You will be amazed at how quick these ideas will become your new natural way of thinking when you give them constant daily attention.

And lastly and most obviously you want to keep the inspiring ideas fresh as soon as you get that "A-ha" feeling and remember why they hit you so strongly.

Which leads us to the second most important part.

2. Writing down not only the sentences that inspire you but also how and why they inspire you specifically at that moment. This is what the 5th category in your notebook or computer is going to contain.

For example, say you are having a problem with a family member that keeps butting into your business and you don't know how to deal with them. Then "coincidently" that same day you read an article that tells you exactly how to handle that type of situation. You immediately get a chill when you read it because you are saying to yourself "Oh Wow! That was exactly what I needed to read at this exact moment. Universe really responded - How awesome!"

This is the kind of stuff you need to write down!. These mini miracles! Because believe me when I tell you, if you don't you write them down that day - you will forget!

I'll give you a personal example. About 8 years ago I was in a fairly serious financial situation. I needed to come up with about $10,000. At the time I was reading a whole bunch of ideas and exercises to help me manifest this money. Sure enough within three weeks I received the money from a very unexpected source- no strings attached! I was stunned - I was amazed - I was thrilled! It worked! Law of Attraction really worked!

I busied myself putting the money to very good use and got on with my life. Things went pretty smoothly for awhile. I no longer had this serious debt hanging over my head and life went back to normal.

I continued to study and read for another 5 years - everything I could get my hands on.

Sure enough I found myself in another "financial situation." No big deal, right? I had done it before, I could do it again. The only problem was I couldn't remember exactly how I did it! It had been 5 years earlier!! I couldn't remember what thoughts I had had back then at the time, I couldn't remember what affirmations or meditations I had used. I couldn't remember the level of energy I was vibrating out.

I had read so much more different kinds on information in the meantime that I couldn't remember "the exact magic formula" that had worked for me the first time.

Now don't get me wrong. There are a million ways to manifest money, and I did manifest it again, but this time it took a little longer. And I am sure that the only reason for the delay was because I was so busy being frustrated about not remembering my "first" way, that I ended up blocking my own creative abilities (Oh well, another lesson learned).

So don't let that happen to you. Write down the miracles as they happen. Exactly what you are thinking when they happen. This way you can begin to recognize your own "manifesting blueprint" and see what works so well for you personally.

Another good reason for having this "miracle" list is simple.

We all have our ups and downs. Some days we are vibrating so high and then others… maybe not so much.

This 5th section is perfect for those "not so much" days.

It's really great to get inspired by the writings of others. But nothing will be as authentic to you than your own words and experiences written in your own "voice".

If you are having a particularly hard time manifesting something and are feeling a little doubtful, simply go to this 5th section and be reminded just how many times Universe has come through for you before.

Remind yourself of the vibrational level you were at when these manifestations happened. Remember the "spiritual high" you felt when these things materialized.

You will find that your confidence and belief will skyrocket when you have a clear list of 100 different times that Universe came through for you. Every time it gave you that parking spot you visualized, introduced you to the right person you needed at the right time, gave you the money that you needed or the information exactly when you asked for it.

So get started now! Start your Spiritual Growth Journal today.

Who knows? Maybe one day you'll have enough inspiring information to print your own book on the subject to inspire others.

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #24 - Going After Your Goal With All Of Your Heart

So what is it you are wanting in your life? If the Law of Attraction were really to work as easily as a genie popping out of a bottle, what would be on your list of desires?

The first thing you need to do is write these goals down on a list. To be more successful in your career? To make more money? To become healthier? To lose weight? To attract that perfect relationship?

After your list has been made - put them in the order of importance. Start by putting a one next to the most important one and then work your way down.

Now that you have it clear in your head what your first most important goal is, remember it and forget everything else. Put the rest of the list away for another day to go back to.

Now pull out another piece of paper. Write down that thing that you are wanting at the top of the page.

For example:

I want my internet business to be more successful.

Look at this sentence for a moment. Now decide that you are going to put your entire heart and soul into accomplishing this one task. Decide that absolutely nothing is going to stop you from achieving it! Decide to give it your full attention every single day - every spare minute of every single day until it is accomplished.

Imagine your focus is like a laser beam. Everything else on that list gently fades into the background as you think about this one thing. Do not worry if you have failed in the past - THIS time it is going to be different! This time you will let no thought and no thing stand in your way of accomplishing it!

You are entitled to this one thing, deserving of this one thing, and absolutely powerful enough to create this one thing!

On the next line write what your ultimate goal for this desire is going to be. For instance:

- This business is going to be earning me at least $100,000 a year.
- I am going to have at least 15,000 visitors per day.
- I am going to have at least 4 different websites that are popular and flourishing.

(If it is weight loss - put down your goal weight or clothes size, if it is health put down how you are going to feel when you reach it - what physical goals you will be able to accomplish, etc.)

Now break it down even more.

In the first six months I am going to:

- Be earning at least $2,000 a month
- Having all 4 sites up and running
- Having at least 500 visitors per month

Then break it down even more

In the next month I am going to:

- Be earning at least $100 a month
- Having at least 2 of the sites up and running
- having at least 100 visitors a month.

In the next week I am going to:

- Learn how to build a website
- Do Research on others peoples successful websites
- Get more ideas about what I want on my website

Now write a daily to do list

- Sign up with a web host
- Go through a basic html tutorial online

You get the idea.

O.K. now you have your plan of action. Make sure you dedicate every spare minute you have to thinking about this goal. Come up with fresh and unique ideas of how you might accomplish it. Check off your to-do list everyday as you accomplish each minor task.

If you come across any kind of road block, figure out a way around it. Think outside the box.

If you have those days where you can seem to find the motivation - spend your time finding things to motivate you! Go online and find stories of people who have succeeded in what you are trying to accomplish. Print out their stories and their pictures. Put it into a motivation file - so anytime you might feel your spirit lagging, you have a reminder of why you want to accomplish this goal. If you have a Vision Board take everything else off of it and put up only things that pertain to this particular goal.

You see, this single-minded focus is the only difference between people who succeed and people who do not. If you take a look at any of the people who have become successful in their fields you will realize that they weren't smarter than you are, richer than you are, or more entitled than you are. The only difference is that if they somehow stumbled along the way, "they picked themselves up, dusted themselves off and started all over again". They never gave up. They kept that laser beam of attention on the ultimate goal.

It is time to understand that there is no one and no thing out there that can stop you from creating what you desire. The only things that can stop you are your past mistaken beliefs that you can't accomplish it or your distraction of trying to achieve a thousand different things at once.

Do not worry about the rest of the goals that were on your original list. Once you have gotten this first one accomplished you can then redirect your laser beam attention to another goal. (Otherwise you will find that, as has happened in the past, you are dividing your attention amongst a million things and none of them are getting done to completion or your satisfaction.)

Now you might ask, what on Earth does this have to do with the Law of Attraction?

The answer? Everything!

You see for the Law of Attraction to work it requires:

Knowing exactly what you want to create (which you now know from your list)
Your motivation behind it (which you now know from your list)
Your undivided attention (which you now have with your laser beam focus)
Taking Specific Action Towards Your Goal (which you will now accomplish as you do your daily to-do list)
Your belief that it can be done (which will grow as you accomplish each new step)
And lastly, your positive thoughts (that come from your motivation file and your enthusiasm as each day you get one step closer to your goal.)

That is all the Law of Attraction needs to kick into gear. Remember it is a law. Whatever you keep your focus on - more is drawn to you.

As you take more positive action towards what you are wanting, Universe responds in kind and sends its attention to the same place.

That is when you will begin to see amazing things happen! You will find that the right people will contact you at exactly the right time, the right program will show up just when you need it, the right website or the exact amount of money you might need for the next step you have to take.

If all of your positive intentions and emotions, your heart and soul, are involved in your endeavor, Universe can't help but respond with the same matching energy.

So go decide what it is right now that you are wanting to create. Take that one thing and embrace it with all of your heart and determination.

You will be amazed at how quickly the Universe will respond when you are working from this empowered vibration.

Manifestation Exercise #23 - Discover How Big Your Higher Self Really Is

The following exercise is designed to show you how "Big" you really are. It is a mental and visual exercise that will help soothe you immediately if you feel you are becoming overwhelmed with a problem or difficult circumstance.

As you are sitting where you are right now - imagine that your higher self gently floats out of your body and is looking down at the top of your head. Become that higher self and see what it sees. From this aerial view notice not only the top of your head but also the chair you are sitting in, the desk or table that your computer sits on.

Now you start to expand up and out. You can now see the entire room or office you are sitting in.

You grow even bigger - you can now see the entire house or building your physical self is in.

Grow even bigger and you can see the entire neighborhood you are in. All the streets, stores, traffic lights, etc..

Bigger and you can now see the entire state you are living in.

Grow even more and you can see the entire country as if you were looking at a map.

Grow even more and now you can see the planet.

Observe this gorgeous orb for a minute and lovingly take it into the palm of your hand.

(Actually look down at the palm of your hand and imagine that globe sitting there. - Very Important!)

How do you feel now? Do you not feel like the greatest giant that ever lived?

Now try and relocate that tiny little physical you in that tiny country, tiny state, tiny building, tiny room and then try to find its tiny little problems.

From this perspective can't you see that the problem or circumstance is so small it is practically non-existent?

Don't you feel like laughing and soothing that little being and saying "What are you so worried about little one? I can handle that problem without even blinking. We are sooo much more than that."

Imagine with laughter if you were to take even the smallest pinch of money in your giant fingers and were to sprinkle it over the head of that little physical being that they would probably drown in it?

Imagine with more laughter the site of this little tiny being knocked off its chair as dollar bills landed on top of it and filled the room and house to the point where it was coming out of the windows and doors and overflowing to the streets outside.

Imagine again that if you were to send it even an ounce of the love that you truly felt for it, it would probably explode because its little physical form couldn't handle it.

THIS is how big you really are!

Anytime something comes up that may feel a little overwhelming to you - immediately do this exercise to remind yourself how miniature it really is. Feel how huge and capable you really are in being able to handle it like it was nothing more than a speck of dust.

When I first received the idea for this exercise quite a few years ago, I had been working in Manhattan. I had typed about it in my journal and was playing around with it because it felt so empowering to me.

Sure enough it was only about a day or two later when I was visiting one the millions of souvenir shops in the city during my lunch hour that I came across a bunch of key chains. One of these key chains was a small Earth globe. (Coincidence?…I think not.) Sure enough I bought it and kept it on my desk for years. (It made the exercise that more realistic.) I'm sure if you look online you can find one easily enough, but it really isn't necessary.

If you do the simply physical act of looking at your hand and imaging a little globe there you will automatically feel your immenseness.

So go play with this exercise today. The more your practice it the more natural it becomes to go right to that giant place when some "tiny" problem comes up in your life and also makes it that much easier for you to deal with it.

Manifestation Exercise #22 - Today is the Day To Do Something Different

It happens to all of us at one time or another. We get stuck in a rut. Same things day in and day out.

Every day you go to work at the same job, every night you come home and have the same arguments with the kids or spouse, every night the same dinners, every month the same bills to pay.

It can get so bad you may even find yourself questioning it all. Like why the heck am I here? What is the point in living? This really can’t be all there is. Going through every day like a robot watching days, weeks, even months fly by dong the same exact things all the time. Nothing new…nothing to get excited about.

Maybe it wouldn’t even be so bad if it wasn’t for the frustration that you feel deep down that there really is something else that you should be doing, but you just have no idea what it is.

That is where this exercise comes in. Today is the day to do something different.

It doesn’t have to be drastic, it can be the smallest thing. But that smallest thing can be the catalyst to so much more. Imagine that something is jammed in a tight space. Only by rocking it back and forth gently with little moves is it going to loosen enough for you to get it free.

It works the same way for you. Sometimes you can be so “stuck” in your current circumstances that the only way you will be able to free yourself is with some gentle rocking to loosen things up.

You see, even though it may seem as if things never change in your life, in truth everything around you is changing constantly. Energy is always moving and changing. But if it feels that nothing is ever changing for you personally, it is for a very simple reason. Day after day you keep making the same decisions.

There it is. See? Very simple.

Have different thoughts…make different decisions… have a different life.

But where do I begin you may ask? Start with the small. Take out a piece of paper and write down your daily routine. Everything from the time you wake up until you go to bed at night.

For instance:

Wake up 5:30am.
Take a shower.
Have a cup of coffee
On the bus or train by 7:00am
Check emails at office
Eat at “this restaurant” for lunch
Etc.

When you are finished, look down your list and decide to do just one single thing differently today than you normally do. Just one little thing.

For instance, Instead of having your coffee at home why don’t you decide to have it at the local Starbucks near work and people watch for 15 minutes this morning.

Instead of your usual mode of transportation take an alternate mode and see different things than you normally do. Instead of the normal place you eat lunch tell your boss you need at extra ten minutes today to run an errand and walk 3 blocks further to a new restaurant you’ve never tried before.

If you are a homemaker, look up a different recipe to cook for dinner. Go shopping at a different store than usual for the ingredients. Decide to have a picnic in the backyard instead of eating at the dinner table (your family might think you are crazy, but if you have little ones, they will love it!)

The point is to gently shake things up a bit. Remind yourself of the myriad of possibilities that really exist for you on this awesome planet. Doing even a little something different gives you a whole new perspective. It makes you wonder “Wow! What else is out there? What else can I experience? What else might be fun to try? And as you try this “new” thing be proud of yourself. Feel good that you are taking this new step, however small. Truly appreciate the new experience and look at every detail and impression that you get from it.

You need to remember that your feeling stuck is only an illusion. It is simply because you keep making the same decisions today that you made yesterday that makes it feel as if nothing is changing.

So today…do something different. Make a different decision. Have a different thought.

But be warned…it can be very addicting! Before you know it you might have a whole new and exciting life.

Happy Creating!

Law of Attraction Manifestation Exercise #21 - Watching For The Signs From Universe

One of the most important things that proved to me that the Law of Attraction was indeed real was my personal experience with synchronicity.

The technical definition of Synchronicity is as follows: the experience of two or more events which occur in a meaningful manner, but which are causally un-related. In order to be 'synchronistic', the events must be related to one another temporally, and the chance that they would occur together by random chance must be very small when all things come together.

My definition of Synchronicity is "Universe doing it's thing".

So many synchronistic things have happened to me over the years that there is no possible way they could be dismissed as mere coincidences.

For instance a really fun one happened to me about a year ago when I first started putting articles on the web.

I wasn't drawing a lot of traffic to my site yet and it seemed that my articles were not attracting much attention. I was starting to have serious doubts about whether this was really what I was supposed to be doing with my life or if I was just simply wasting my time.

I went to one article directory where I had put up an article and found only two people had voted it worth reading -- and one of them was me! With a sarcastic laugh of frustration I said to myself "let's see who the only other person in the world who likes this article is" -- and I swear on my life this is true - when I clicked for more info the name of the other fan came back as "God".

Now, I have no idea who the person was who chose that as their screen name on that directory, but it probably changed the course of my life that day. While some may say this was simply a coincidence..I know better. I know the feeling I got when I saw that name…the shock I felt…but more important the "knowing" that it was indeed a personal message to me. "God" had liked my article and I couldn't have asked for a bigger sign or a more fun way to receive it at exactly the right time.

Needless to say I continued writing.

You have probably had a few experiences like this yourself. When you have a question on your mind or are unsure of what your next move might be and suddenly the right person or circumstance comes along with the answer. Times when you try to convince yourself it was mere coincidence, but a deeper part of you knows better -- knows that it is indeed a personal message to you.

It is awesome when these messages come through unexpectedly like in the example up above. But did you know there are also ways to "attract" the answers to yourself even quicker?

Below are some things you can do to help you attract the answers you are wanting in your own life.

Books - When I first starting studying the laws of the universe or the law of attraction if you will, it was almost 20 years ago and I had a LOT of questions. Now you have to remember at this time there was no internet and not many people at the time I could talk to about the subject. So I found my answer in books. Now you may be thinking "Duh! - what is so special about that?" I mean I literally found my answers in books.

I would have 2 or 3 questions on my mind before I left my office in Manhattan to go to lunch. I would go to a Strand's used bookstore, dig through hundreds of books in boxes, find a book that for some reason stood out to me a little bit more than the others - open to a page in the middle of the book - and there would be my answer! And quite often the book wasn't even about the subject I was looking for! I could ask a question like "how does the universe work exactly?" then suddenly be drawn to an unrelated book about relationships; open to a random page and the first sentence I read was "Like attracts Like" and would suddenly "know" I just got my answer.

This is a really fun one to try. Think about what your question is, go to your bookshelf, find whatever book seems to stand out to you more than the others, feel your way with your fingers until you feel a mental "click" and then open it where your fingers landed. There will something on that page you need to know. With a little practice it will come more naturally. It is a practice I still use all the time.

Tarot Cards - Like I said I have been studying this "stuff" for awhile and have pretty much given everything a shot at least once. Remember answers are everywhere and you can find them in tarot cards as well as anywhere else. You do not need to pay a "professional tarot card reader" to get an informative reading -- you can buy a deck for yourself. Any bookstore has tarot cards and easy-to-use books that explain how to use them at a reasonable price. Please don't get me wrong. I don't believe that tarot cards "predict your future" by any means -- only you can do that -- but they are a fun and easy way to get some insight and answers to your questions. I actually prefer doing it myself as opposed to going to a reader because then the opinion and energy of the "reader" does not interfere with the answers.

IChing - Similar to tarot cards but in this instance you use coins. Again you can easily find a book in the bookstore that will take you step by step through the process. You throw 3 coins and depending on how they land -- you interpret the answer. If you would rather not use a book there are a couple of free websites on the internet that can do the process for you. You can use it for either IChing or Tarot readings - Free Site

Internet - Of coarse this is one of the easier ways to find what you are looking for, but could sometimes be a little overwhelming with too much conflicting information. The only advice I can give you with this is to "go with your gut feeling." The answer that "feels" right to you is the answer you are looking for.

Road Signs - I have had some real fun with road signs, bumper stickers and even billboard ads at times when I've needed some spiritual advice. Sometimes we do some of our best "heavy" thinking while driving and Universe has a great sense of humor when it comes to answering you this way.

For instance if you are thinking about making a business decision and you come across a "slow down" sign that stands out to you; there's your answer. Then again maybe it says "Merge Ahead" and there again is your answer. Maybe you're having a fight with a loved one and aren't sure what your next move should be, suddenly a bumper sticker on the car in front of you "asks" you What Would Jesus Do? Some billboards have really cracked me up - because my answer will not only be in front of me but will be literally 6 feet tall! (Not easily ignored.)

Television - Believe it or not I have even gotten some great answers from this so-called mind numbing device. I can't tell you how many times a character in a movie or sitcom was "going through" exactly the same thing I was experiencing at the time and a piece of advice they receive or an action they take "feels" like the right answer to me as well. Hey I already warned you that Universe works in mysterious ways!

Listening to Others - Sometimes your answers can come in the most obvious of places. Simply ask the advice of friends or loved ones. Again, when you hear the right answer you will know it. (Just make sure you go with your gut feeling as opposed to doing what "others" think is right for you. Believe me, you will "know" the difference.)

There are so many countless ways that Universe can give you guidance if you just pay attention. It can be through a song you hear playing or a strangers conversation that you happen to overhear. Maybe the headline of a newspaper or magazine you just happen to notice while waiting for the bus.

The most important part is in paying attention! Universe (or your higher self, if you prefer) is always there for you! Simply ask your question and then consciously look for your answer. It will show up in an undeniable and often very funny way!

Manifestation Exercise #20 - Give Your Ego A Day Off And Manifest A Truly Peaceful Day

What if for just one single day you gave your ego the day off? That might sound a little crazy at first, but if you would like to experience what true peace feels like this is an exercise you should try.

It will not be easy, I assure you. You are about to find out how difficult it can be. But as with anything, with practice…you will get better.

So imagine this.

For one day you will not listen to your ego's nagging, criticism, or worry. For just for one day you are simply going to "be".

A good day to try this is on your day off from work when you will not have others trying to drag you back into "doing" constantly.

Choose a day when you have no specific plans. Believe it or not (regardless of what your ego tries to tell you) your world will not fall apart from taking a day off. Instead just the opposite will happen. You will actually discover and appreciate what life is really all about.

Just for this one day you are going to simply be. Your are not going to "think"..you are going to "appreciate". You are not going to "do" you are simply going to "experience".

Here Are Some Simple Steps:

1. Pay Extraordinary Attention To All Of Your Five Senses Today.

Sight - Really look around you today. Notice things you have never noticed before. How many beautiful trees are on your block, what kind of flowers someone is growing in their corner yard. How many different colors you can spot in one place. The different colors and styles of clothes that people are wearing, or the cars that they drive. Lay on the grass and look for shapes and pictures in the clouds like you used to when you were a child. Just watch.

Listen - Listen to sounds you normally do not pay attention to. Did you ever notice that normal passing cars can sound like ocean waves breaking on a beach if you imagine it hard enough? Listen for birds, crickets, cicadas. They are all there, even in the city, you just haven't noticed lately.

Feel - Appreciate the feel and texture of things today. Appreciate the softness of the fur on your pet. The smooth skin of your child, the feel of a silk blouse, or the warmth of the cup for your morning coffee or tea this morning.

Taste - Just for today eat whatever you want. Forget the calories your ego is trying to make you feel guilty about. As you are eating one of your favorite meals, eat slowly and appreciate very single bite. Roll it around your mouth. Enjoy the texture and the flavor. Anything from lobster to ice cream can be appreciated in this way. Instead of feeling any kind of guilt about food - make sure you enjoy every single bite, taste and smell of it. Food really can be such an enjoyable experience.

Smell - When was the last time you literally stopped and smelled the roses, or a blade of grass? Or burnt a candle in your home with your favorite scent? Or put on your favorite perfume or cologne just to appreciate it, instead of wearing it only on special occasions? Purposely take a whiff of baby powder and be reminded of when your little ones were young. Stand outside your house by the dryer vent and smell the fabric softener as your clothes dry. (That's always a crowd pleaser.)

2. Become invisible to others for just today.

How often do you worry about the way you look? Do you often "think" about what others are thinking when they look at you? Do you normally worry about what you are wearing, your weight, your hair color or if you have something in your teeth? Just for today pretend you are physically invisible. Get yourself dressed and showered and the minute you walk out the door - completely forget about what you look like. If your ego tries to get on your case - remind it that it has the day off - and today is your day to simply experience. You are invisible - so looks do not matter today.

3. Simply listen when others talk to you today.

Do you normally worry more about what your response is going to be than actually listening to what another person is actually saying? That is just your ego butting in again. It is looking for an intelligent response or searching its memory banks to attempt to "one up" someone else's story. Give it a break today. Simply listen, nod and really feel what the other person is trying to say. Don’t try and come back with anything witty or smart. Simply listen and give your full attention to the other person.

4. Watch children at play

Be it your own child or someone else's. Simply watch and appreciate how they live in the total NOW moment. Watch a child be fascinated with a sand box. Watch them laugh with glee in a swimming pool or running through a sprinkler. Watch them watch a bug. They are not worried about bills or gas prices. They are so totally in the moment. Appreciate how much calmer you would be if you consciously did that yourself for even a few hours a day.

5. Appreciate your pet or other animals.

If you have your own pet, notice today their absolute love and devotion to you. Appreciate what you bring to their lives as much as what they bring to yours. They too only exist in the now moment. Absolutely at peace with where they are. If you do not have a pet, notice the birds in the trees simply flying from one branch to another. Nothing else on their minds except what they feel like doing at the moment. We too can be this peaceful if we give our ego's time off once in awhile.

You see, life is happening all around you and you are missing it! We can all get so involved in our to-do lists we forget to simply BE. Which is really the only reason we are here in the first place.

Important Note: If your ego is arguing with you even at this moment that you don't have "time" to do this exercise for a day it is all the more reason why you NEED to do it.

It means your ego is already "out of control" and self inflated with its own importance. It is trying to brainwash you into believing that YOU can't do without it for even one day. If it is acting like your whole life is going to fall apart if even one day goes by without you doing "what you are supposed to" you can easily see who is really in control here and it is time to pull in the reins and let your higher-self take over.

Your life will not fall apart if you take a day off. As a matter of fact it is just the opposite. It will eventually fall apart if you do not.

Your mind and body can only take so much stress…so much negative thinking. This has been proven time and time again by others.

You deserve this! You work hard…too hard…all the time! It is time to give yourself some time off.

Make a conscious effort to truly enjoy life for one whole day. It is awesomely addicting! It is also the first step to learning how to do it a little more each day to make life truly more enjoyable.

Law of Attraction: Manifestation Exercise #19: Write a "Future You" Journal

Do you want to have a little fun? If so, then start a "Future You Journal" today. Write a journal describing what your Future You is experiencing and feeling. What your Future You looks like and what a day in the life of the Future You does.

So often we are unhappy because we do not have what we want in our lives. But also quite as often we are not even sure exactly what it is we are wanting. This exercise will help give you clarity on that as well.

So to begin -- answer the following questions. Really picture these images in your mind as you come up with them.

What do you look like?
What do you weigh?
What is your hair color?
How do you dress?
Are you happily married, happily divorced, or happily seeing one or more people who are happy to share you?
Are you so sought after that you are having to turn dates down simply due to lack of time?
Are you happily single because right now you are so focused on your career?

What is your career?

Are you a famous author, a multi-million dollar inventor or entrepreneur?. Do you have the position you have always wanted in your company? Maybe you always wanted to own your own restaurant, your own hotel, your own health spa or spiritual retreat.

Or maybe are you happily retired with millions of dollars spending your days on the golf course? Maybe you own the "mansion" by the lake or the ocean. You know the one with the huge glass windows with the gorgeous view that everyone in passing boats points to as they go by and wishing that they lived there?

Maybe it’s a rustic cabin in the woods, where you go fishing and hiking every day. Or maybe that is just your summer place.

Where do you live most of the year? Mansion, a littleVictorian, an apartment in the city? Do you have servants or do you happily take care of it yourself at your leisure?

Now that you have the basics down start to write your journal as if you already ARE that person!

So let's start with breakfast. Depending on what life style you have created where do you have it?

By yourself while enjoying the view? Brought to you by servants (no cooking or cleaning necessary) or are you too busy for breakfast because you have to get to "whatever your dream job is" early?

What do you decide to wear today as you are about to leave? The Armani suit, the awesome leather skirt, or simply the very comfortable jeans or khaki's that you love wearing to work every day because you are the boss?

What are your driving? The BMW, the Mustang, the new SUV or your favorite knock around truck or car that you wouldn't want to give up in a million years due to sentimental reasons?

Where do you lunch? Who do you lunch with? What do you eat?

Where do you spend your weekend, holidays or vacations?

You get the idea. Write in this journal daily as the "new" you. What are you excited about? What are you looking forward to? What are you appreciating the heck out of? Write how you sat down and paid every one of your bills in full! You own no one anything and it feels awesome!

Write of the irony of how so many credit card offers now arrive in your mail at the one time you don't need them. Heck you can pay for everything in cash! Who needs to pay someone else interest?

You see, there are three different benefits to this exercise.

The first is to get clarity on exactly what it is you are wanting. Not just materially, but describe how you want to feel spiritually and physically as well. Awakened, alive, appreciative, full of life!

Know exactly how you want to look, feel, work and live. You would be surprised at how many of us do not get into that kind of detail when we are wanting changes in our life. How can Universe know what to deliver if you are not even sure what you are asking for?

The second benefit to this exercise is that you now have a full list of "stuff" you can start working on attaining. What do you weigh as your future you? You can start working on that part easily right now with some diet and exercise! Want that Armani suit? Start putting $20 away a week for it right now until you have saved enough to own it. Decided what you wanted your new career to be? Start taking the first step or second step towards that goal.

The third benefit to this exercise is the time you are spending focused on the positive! Instead of wasting that time worried or complaining about what you do not have (which will only bring more of that) you are spending you time focused on what you do want (which you will then get more of as well).

So go have some fun! Write your "Future You" journal and describe exactly what awesome life you are headed to!

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #18 - How To Change A Negative Thought or Habit In As Little As 21 Days

Did you know that you can change a negative core belief in only 21 days? Even if it is a thought you have had for 30 years?

Or that you can create a new positive habit in as little as 21 days that can last a lifetime?

I have always loved that scientific statistic and it is a great exercise to use when learning how to apply the Law of Attraction.

The great part about it is there are so many different things you can use it for.

The first thing to do is to draw or print out a calendar for the month. I found a free one you can use here. I like this particular site because you can also add a personal picture on top that will help inspire you and you do not have to sign up for anything to use the program.

Or if you do not have a printer available you can simply draw up a calendar yourself.

Now decide what is it you want to change or accomplish.

I suggest starting with one thing at a time until the old habit is broken before starting a new one so you do not feel overwhelmed, but if you can handle more than one -- go for it! Just make sure you print up a separate calendar for each idea.

So what is the new habit you would like to create? Do you want to start meditating, taking your vitamins, exercising, eating healthier? Do you want to start getting better organized? Start staying on top of your mail, on top of your house cleaning, on top of things at work, on top of your money more?

Whatever new habit you would like to create MUST be done for 21 days in a row. Remember, if you miss a day you have to start over from the beginning. But having the calendar in front of you is what makes it more fun and gives you a feeling of accomplishment.

For everyday you accomplish your task you mark off the date with a big X. If at anytime you feel like slacking off, repeat to yourself "Don’t Break The Chain!"…"Don’t Break The Chain!" Look at your calendar at all those pretty X's in a row. You don't want to stop now!

You want to see at least 21 of those x's in a row. After 21 days your new behavior has now become a new habit and marking off the x's after that will be just plain fun.

Now what if you want to use it to change an old negative belief?

Use an affirmation! At least 5 times a day for 21 days in a row. Again mark off each day with an "X" when you have done it. Say the affirmation when you first wake up, mid-morning, lunch time, mid-afternoon and before you go to bed. (The time of day doesn't really matter and if you choose to say it even more often than 5 - even better! As long as you do it.)

Here are some examples of affirmations you can use:

If you are feeling negative about money: "Money comes to me effortlessly and easily every day and in every way" or "I am entitled to always have more than enough money simply because IAM"

If you are feeling anxious: "At the core of my being I am always peaceful and calm"

If you are have not been feeling 100% physically: "I am perfect physical health and have never felt better in my life!"

If you want to feel really good overall try this one: "Every day and in every way I am getting better and better" (This one works really great by the way! It covers everything from health, to work, to exercise, to relationships, to creating new habits. With those simple words you are covering the spectrum!)

Of coarse there are tons of other affirmations you can find on the internet if those don't feel right to you.

Make sure you keep your calendar somewhere that you can see it. On your refrigerator, bulletin board at work, or even your bedroom wall so you see it every night and every morning.

So give this simple exercise a try! We all know how fast 21 days goes, especially if you are trying to break a bad habit or get rid of a negative thought you have had for years! 21 days is merely a drop in the bucket.

Manifestation Exercise #17 - Another Fun Way To Communicate With Your Higher Self

The first time I saw someone use this type of format for communicating with their higher selves was the Conversation With God series by Neale Donald Walsh. I absolutely loved those books when I first read them, and even now, every once in awhile, I am inspired to open one if I am looking for an answer to a question. (That is another Manifestation exercise I will be writing about in the future. The strange and different places you can find answers to your personal questions.- sometimes it is simply opening a book to any page.)

Any way, when I first started reading these books I was of envious of Mr. Walsh. How awesome would that be?! I thought to myself. To simply write down a question and have “God” answer it. It would certainly save me a lot of time and frustration in doing hours of research in other ways. But I believed that “automatic writing” was a gift only given to certain people and I was just going to have to do it the old fashioned way until I became “enlightened” enough to be able to do it for myself.

The next time I saw something like that done was when I started listening to Abraham-Hicks. Only it was Jerry Hicks asking the questions and Abraham answering them through Esther Hicks. Again, I envied them. Wow! How cool to have that kind of guidance in front of you at all times and not have to wait for a conference to come around or pay a ton of money to have someone else answer my question.

You see, even though I was learning that “we are all God and all one” and that God, our higher selves, or the IAM if you will, are in each of one of us, I thought a person had to be “some kind of special” to have a direct communication with that higher part.

I found out however, quite by accident, that this wasn’t the case at all.

Writing has always been my favorite form of communication and therefore I have kept a personal journal since I was about 11 years old.

When I wrote though it was only using my “own” voice. My own “ego” voice. You know the one -- the one that nags you all the time, the one that complains, insults you, puts you down. Also when I wrote, I would simply state purported facts “You know such and such did this to me and I got so mad. The next time they do that I am going to….whatever torture or belated comeback I could come up with.

What I hadn’t ever thought to do however was to simply “ask” a question and wait for an answer. As far as I was concerned I “had” all the answers about “me” and was just using writing as my way of complaining about it all.

Until one day when I was having a particularly hard time in a personal relationship. I was doing my usual bashing about how this person was selfish and mistreating me and made me so angry! While I don’t remember the exact question I asked, it was something like How am I going to get them to treat me the way I want to be treated? And then I just sat there for a moment and stopped writing because I didn‘t have the answer. I pounded the return key twice on my keyboard (I write everything in a word processor nowadays by the way -it‘s quicker) and just stared at the new blank line when suddenly I felt compelled to put my hands back on the keyboard and typed “What makes you think they are the one who needs to do the changing?”

I sat there confused for a minute because believe me, with as angry as I was, that thought hadn‘t come from my ego. Heck I was the one being wronged here!

So my next typed line to myself was something like “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

I hit the return twice again and waited.

I suddenly had the urge to type again and it said “What makes you think it is their job to make you happy? Only you can make you happy.”

After that we were off and running! And I’m happy to say I still do it today - everyday!

You see the second “voice“ -- the one that “answered” had a different tone to it. A deeper, lower, slower tone than my normal run-amok ego voice.

This “other” voice had a calming effect - a slow it down and take it easy kind of feel to it. It just simply felt like it was coming from a deeper place.

Now please don’t get me wrong. I am still not at the level that Esther Hicks is. I can’t effortlessly answer any question thrown at me by any person, but I found I can answer my own questions about my life from this deeper place and for now that is more than enough for me.

Maybe someday I will feel the urge to take it a step further. I know that it is possible to do it. I know that we all have access to “all the answers” and that with deeper meditations and practice I can accomplish it, but for now I haven’t felt that urge yet, so I am happy with where I am.

So if you would like to receive some of your personal answers…start asking the questions.

Take a few minutes of silence, grab a piece of paper or open a word document. Type out what your issue is and then directly ask a question and wait for the answer. Give it a few moments. If nothing pops into your head automatically prompt it a little. Like hello!? Have a question here! Where are you? And restate the question.

You might be very surprised at the answer that pops up! Don’t analyze it or second guess it. Just write down or type whatever comes to you.

How will you know the difference between your ego voice and higher self voice? When your higher self voice comes up with an answer your ego wouldn’t in a million years! When the answer feels deeper and somehow right, even though your ego might initially disagree with what the answer is.

Believe it or not I know immediately when my “I AM” voice is coming through because it always leads me back to my coffee. Anytime I sit down and start ranting about something it will stop me in my tracks and ask my how my coffee is or was this morning. I know… I know…sounds crazy.. but then again you don’t know how I feel about my coffee.

I LOVE my coffee in the morning and I appreciate it everyday. The smell, the warmth of the cup and the taste of it. So when I sit down and start typing furiously about some issue I am having and I start getting into an emotional rant, my deeper voice will stop me in my tracks and ask “so how good is that coffee you are drinking?“ Like I said I know it sounds crazy but that always stops my rant immediately and makes me laugh with appreciation for my stupid cup of coffee. Then I calm down and get the answers I am looking for.

So give it a shot. You have nothing to lose. Simply write out your question and wait for your higher self to answer. You will be surprised at some of the awesome things you can learn!

Happy Creating!

Manifestation Exercise #16 - Manifesting Pink Flamingos and Yellow Cars: Improve Your Manifesting Ability

I have been studying the Law of Attraction for quite a few years now. Sometimes I get so caught up in the “new” stuff I am learning that I forget how much fun going back to the basics is.

I was reminded the other day when I saw a Pink Yard Flamingo on someone’s front lawn.

In my “early” days, Pink Flamingos was one of the fun things I used to manifest as a reminder that Universe was indeed listening to me.

Universe has come through for me in so many different ways since then that I now trust it wholeheartedly but the other day I felt like just playing with the basics again.

If you are having a hard time manifesting what you want in life, there is a good chance that you simply need some practice.

After all you wouldn’t attempt to run a marathon without a little prior training first. The same goes for the big Manifestations. You can see how it might be difficult going from very poor to very rich in one fell swoop (not impossible), but more difficult, if you haven’t practiced your manifesting technique yet.

The following are some simple manifestations you can play around with. Personally, I like the unusual. Things you don’t see everyday, so they will stand out more when they show up in your reality. But of coarse the choice is up to you.

Here are a few examples:

1. Pink Flamingos
2. Yellow or Purple Cars
3. H.R. Pufinstuf (or any old cartoon character)
4. A Toucan bird
5. Snow in summer (I will explain)
6. A rainbow
7. Parking Spaces
8. An orange ski cap
9. A leprechaun
10. A monkey

Now understand, these things do not have to show up in actual live, physical form (After all, a Pufinstuf might be hard to come by). But if you tell Universe that you want to manifest one of the things mentioned above, it will find a way to somehow deliver it. Maybe you will see a picture of it on a side of a bus, maybe overhear someone discussing it, maybe see it in a print ad of a magazine, or even hear it mentioned in the news in some form.

For instance, let’s say you choose to manifest monkeys. Then on the evening news you hear a news story about how a bunch of monkeys escaped from the local zoo. That’s not a news story you hear everyday. Maybe you will see a child walk by with a stuffed monkey in their hands, maybe some crazy lady will have one on her hat. Or who knows, maybe you will see a man walking down the street with a live monkey on his shoulder.

I’ll tell you a fun one I once did. I don’t know why this popped into my head at the time, maybe I was just being a smart alec, but once I told Universe I wanted to see snow in the summer. “Hah!” I thought. “Let’s see Universe come up with that one!” Don’t you know a few days later I am at a friends house for a barbeque when their 4 year old daughter walks out into the yard playing and shaking a snow globe. There you go... Snow in the summer.

Law of Attraction is like a muscle. The more use you use it the stronger it becomes.

Make your request simple and clear.

“Universe I choose to manifest (whatever it is) Thank you!”

Then keep your eyes and ears open.

The first couple of times that you do this exercise and you witness Universe delivering what you asked it to, you might be tempted to think it is merely a “coincidence”. This is easily resolved.

Simply ask again. For the same thing or something different. Trust me. In time you begin to realize that the odds of having so many different “coincidences” occur is almost impossible.

You may have heard other people mention manifesting parking spaces. This is a fun one to do and you get the added benefit of convenience. The next time you go someplace that is usually crowded tell Universe you would like to manifest an open parking spot right out front as soon as you arrive.

Keep practicing! You will be amazed at how many times a person will just be pulling out the second that you are pulling up.

The more often your manifestations occur, the stronger your belief muscle becomes. The stronger your belief muscle becomes, the faster new manifestations are granted because “belief” is one the most important ingredients in the Law of Attraction.

So go have fun with this! Go manifest something crazy and enjoy the “thrill-chills” you will experience when you see the unique way that Universe delivers it. After some practice you will be absolutely ready to create the really “big” stuff!

Happy Creating!
