Being Naturally Deserving

Imagine that you walk into an amusement park. From the minute you walk into the park you are automatically allowed and entitled to go on every ride in that park. No one is more entitled to those rides than you are and no one is less entitled. Everyone is entitled to all the rides in the park - simply because the rides are there.

Now imagine one person walks in and says “You know, I don’t feel right about just being able to go on the roller coaster. I feel as if I have to do something to deserve it. I know, I will sweep the park and then I will feel entitled to go on the roller coaster.”

And so they start sweeping. And then someone walks up to them and asks what they are doing and they say “I am sweeping up the park, so I will feel entitled to go on the roller coaster.”

So this new person says “Oh, O.K. I think I will also start sweeping up the park to feel better about going on the roller coaster. “ And then the new persons begins sweeping.

Now a few more people come in and ask what they are doing. And instead of saying they chose to sweep up the park, they instead say “We are sweeping up the park so we will be deserving of going on the roller coaster.“

Now these new people are under the impression that you HAVE to sweep up the park to be able to go on the roller coaster, -- they never even question who made up this rule or where it came from.

When the truth is “No ONE has to sweep up the park to go on the roller coaster and NO ONE ever said they did!

Some of the people actually get so caught up in the sweeping, they totally forget about the roller coaster all together!

This is the perfect example of many peoples attitudes towards being deserving of good things while on Earth.

Somewhere along the way they picked up the mistaken belief that they have to DO certain things to be deserving. Deserving of money, of success, of love, of happiness. That somehow they have to do things to earn it or be worthy. Or they somehow have to suffer before they can be allowed to enjoy life.

But the truth is, you are simply entitled to every good thing on this planet simply by being here and simply because it is all here at the same time that you are and no ONE up THERE has EVER said anything different!

Only people have come up with these misconceptions, and others have blindly followed without ever asking the simple question: Who SAYS?

Who SAYS I have to work at a job that I hate if I want to make enough money to live?
Who SAYS I am not entitled or deserving to have a lot of money?
Who SAYS that others are more entitled to it than I am?
Who SAYS that I have to do things I don’t want to do if I want to be in a loving relationship?
Who SAYS that manifesting things I want has to be difficult?
Who SAYS that I have to put my time in before I am deserving?
Who SAYS that I have to sacrifice in some areas if I want good in others?

NO ONE has said! No Powers That Be ever came up with that rule!! Only people with misguided beliefs.

So if you find yourself with these hidden misconceptions, it is time to take them out and examine them. Ask yourself the simple question - Who SAYS this is true? And where did they get that crazy idea that it is true? And Why should it be true?

And the more you examine these ideas and really, really try to get to the heart of where these ideas originated, you will begin to realize that most of these misconceptions you carry with you simply came from people who are “sweeping parks for absolutely no reason“.

YOU are entitled to every good thing this Earth and Universe has to offer - simply because you are HERE! This is the biggest playground in the world and you are entitled to go on every ride you desire just because the rides are here for your enjoyment.

And you do not have to earn it - you do not have to do anything to deserve it - you do not have to sacrifice other good things to enjoy it - and there is not and never has been anyone up there trying to keep it from you.

Only your misguided thoughts have kept your greatest manifestations at bay.

So start telling yourself a new story. When and if you feel that:

I can only have that if I....
I can only enjoy this after I....
I will only be entitled to this when...
If only I was....then I can have what I want

Stop yourself in your own tracks and ask yourself....WHO SAYS?

You will be delightfully surprised at the relief you will feel when you get to the heart of the matter and realize there is no good answer to that question, and you will be free to enjoy every ride while you are here.

Law of Attraction: Easily Create More Money by Changing Your Ideas About It

GOOD Morning Everyone!

I originally wrote this article for Associated Content but don't believe I ever posted it here on my blog. --If I have, please forgive the duplicate :)

I was walking out of the supermarket the other day when I passed two boys, (probably each about 8 years old) standing in front of a machine that sold Collectible trading cards.

I overheard them talking and the first boy said that he really wanted a certain set of Pokemon cards but he didn't have enough money. "How much are they?" The other boy asked. "$5.00" was the response. "$5.00?! Wow!" said the second boy. I didn't think much of it and continued walking until I saw an even younger child up ahead begging their mother for $.50 for a small little plastic toy that was in a gumball machine. The mother said "No. I'm not spending that much money for a little piece of junk." "Why? How much is it?" the child asked. "That's fifty pennies!" the mom answered expressively and I saw the child's eyes and mouth open real wide at the "impressive" amount.

I was still laughing to myself at the child's expression as I started unloading my groceries into my car and thinking how I wished I only needed $.50 or $5.00 to purchase what I've been wanting. What a piece of cake that would be! I could find both of those amounts in my pocketbook right now.

But then it started to dawn on me as I was driving away that maybe it really is all in the perception. What if I started looking at the amount of money that I had been trying to create lately the same way that I looked at the $.50 or the $5.00? Like it was merely a drop in the bucket...a piece of cake?

At what point did I decide that the amount of money that I wanted was an insurmountable amount for me to obtain?

There is an item that I have been focusing on manifesting in my life that is worth almost $10,000. Now it is not an absolute necessity that I own it, but it would make my life a lot more fun if I did.

Because it is not a necessity however, I have been unwilling to spend the money I have in the bank on it. I've been attempting to create it by other means, having it show up in a fun or unexpected way. For some reason though, I have been having a harder time than usual in making this manifestation a reality. It seems like anytime I come close, something else comes along that I need to spend my "extra" money on - or something that I was pretty sure was going to work out, falls through at the last minute.

I was beginning to think that maybe subconsciously I was believing that this item was too much of a luxury for me to spend "that kind of money on" and maybe that was holding me back from manifesting it.

But then while driving I asked myself "But who says $10,000 is a lot of money? When did I come to this conclusion?" I mean if I were a doctor or a lawyer, a movie star or a rock star, Donald Trump or Bill Gates, would I not be looking at $10,000 as a mere drop in the bucket, like I did the $.50 or $5.00? Something I might even have simply sitting in my pocketbook?"

That is when I realized that it was not the item itself that was too extravagant - simply the financial resistance that I put on it.

I mean there are literally trillions of dollars flying over my head electronically every day! Can you imagine how excited the government would be if they only had to come up with $10,000 to get out of debt? How about some of the large businesses that are in financial trouble right now? They would be having the biggest party in the world needing only $10,000!

So why does $10,000 seem an impossible amount for me to reach? It reality, that is not a lot of money. It's just an idea I mistakenly picked up along the way.

So how about you?

What if you were to suspend your own "mis"-beliefs about what constitutes a lot of money? What if you were to realize that with all of the trillions of dollars being spent every moment of every day that the amount that you are wanting to create is a mere bag of shells?

What if instead of asking yourself, "how on earth am I going to come up with that amount of money" you instead told yourself "That's not so much. Of coarse I can figure out a way to come up with that"

Instead of saying to yourself "I'll never be able to afford that" you replaced that with "O.K. Piece of cake - how should I go about getting it?"

Can you see immediately the new vibration you will be putting out there?

The Law of Attraction works by bringing you what you think about. If you think the amount that you are wanting is impossible to obtain - then it will be. If you turn it around and think of it being as simple as finding $.50 in your pocket - then it will be.

So give it a try. Anytime you start thinking that something is "too expensive" or "unattainable" ask yourself why. "Why do I think that? Where did I get that idea? Compared to all the money out there - this is such a miniscule amount."

As for me, I now realize that my $10,000 manifestation is right around the corner. I can feel the familiar thrill-chills of excitement of this new breakthrough which in the past has meant that it's even closer than I think.

Using the Law of Attraction to Create More Money Exercise

While it might seem like there a ton of reasons that you don't have a lot of money right now - the fact of the matter is, when you break it all down it only comes down to two components.

1. Either you think you are undeserving of it; or

2. You somehow picked up the idea that money is "bad".

No matter which argument, doubt or excuse you can come up with, they will always lead back to one of those two core "mis"-beliefs.

So what do you do? How do you go about changing these mind sets?

Simple. You will need to address them at two different levels; consciously and sub-consciously.

Now believe it or not, this is not nearly as difficult as it might sound. All it takes is a little of your time.

The first thing we need to do is deal with your conscious thoughts around money, so let's start there.

Get out your trusty pen, pencil or word processing page and write down this sentence:

Why I don't think I deserve to have a lot of money.

Now your original reaction to this question might be - but I do think I deserve to have money - that's why I am so frustrated! If that was your answer then you are not going deep enough.

If you do not have a lot of money right now chances are there is a part of you that thinks you are undeserving. So let's see if we can uncover what it is.

Read the following examples and see if any of these strike a cord in you.

I have never been really successful at anything
I have failed at everything I have ever tried
I am a failure
I never stick with anything long enough to succeed
I constantly change my mind
I have no special talents
I've gotten fired in the past because I am not good enough
Everyone always told me I would never amount to anything.
My family never had money, what makes me think I'm special?
Other people don't have a lot of money, why should I?
People like "me" don't have money
I couldn't still be spiritual if I had money
I couldn't still be a good person if I had money
I wouldn't know how to handle a lot of money
I would just spend it stupidly like I have in the past
I was never very smart
I never finished high school
I never went to college
I never finished at the top of my class
I never got good grades
I don't work smart enough
I don't work hard enough or long enough
I am lazy
Idon't have any original ideas
I am not spiritual enough
I don't sacrifice enough
I don't take care of my health properly
I am a bad parent
I am a bad child
I am a bad spouse
I am a bad friend
I am a bad person
I don't think about others often enough

Now write down whichever ones you feel are even slightly true, plus any others you may come up with on your own. Make sure you leave at least 2 free spaces in between whichever item you write down because you are going to write underneath it in a few moments.

Part II

No write this down on the top of another piece of paper:

The reasons I think money is bad.

This is where you are going to delve into your past and pull out every negative cliché you have heard about money from your parents, your church, your neighbors, your teachers, television, etc.

Money doesn't grow on trees
Money is scarce - there's not enough to go around
Making money is hard
You can't create money out of thin air
Only "special" people have money
You need to have money to make money
Money goes to Money
No one said life was fair
No one said life was supposed to be easy
People like me don't get lucky
People like me don't have a lot of money
I should just be grateful for what I have and not be greedy
The only way to have a lot of money is to work hard at the expense of your loved ones
People who only focus on money don't have lives
Money is the root of all evil
People who have a lot of money are selfish
People who have a lot of money are spoiled
People who have a lot of money are superficial
People who have a lot of money don't have real friends
Don't take chances with money
If you have a lot of money you can't be spiritual
Only poor people can be spiritual through their "sacrifice"
If you have more than enough, then you are simply being greedy...., etc.

Again you get the point. I'm sure your family and friends had their own little pearls of wisdom. Think back to the ones that you have heard in the past. Again write down all the ones that apply to you or hit a particular cord when you read it. Be sure to leave spaces in between.

O.K. Now you are dealing with your feelings consciously. Even if you haven't really thought this deeply about it before - your lists now stand in front of you.

Part III
Now go back to your first list and in the blank line you left beneath it write down at least ONE reason why you know the negative statement is not true.

For instance in the Why I don't deserve to have money list. Say some of your reasons was lack of schooling or opportunities. Write down that tons of people became millionaires who didn't finish school or were brought up in poverty. Or how about "I never stick with anything long enough to succeed" write down that you just haven't found your passion or purpose yet and that once you do you will go after it with all your heart. If it has to do with not being a good enough person, parent, etc, write down all the things that you do do that negates that sentence. How you cook for your family, or call once a week, etc.

Then do the same for the Why Money Is Bad Category. Write down at least one thing (or as many as you like, the more the better) about why those sentences aren't true. For instance "People like me don't have a lot of money" Really? Well who then? "Normal" people hit the lottery all the time, win scratch offs, come up with multi-million dollar ideas. How about "All people with a lot of money are selfish, or self-centered" Really? How about Bill Gates and Warren Buffet? They are two of the richest men in the world and have given millions, if not billions of dollars to charities.

The point of this exercise is to give yourself reasons why what you learned in the past is false.

It is almost impossible to consciously change a negative thought if your brain isn't given a logical reason behind the change.

Part IV
Dealing with your "subconscious" mind regarding money limitations.

Now there are a few different ways you can do this.

EFT
Personally this first option is my favorite and I think the quickest and most effective. It is called EFT or The Emotional Freedom Technique. It is a form of acupressure but it consists of tapping on certain meridian points of your body. For more detailed information and videos on how to use this process visit here.

So how would you use EFT around this subject in particular? This is where both of the lists you wrote will come back into play. Go back up to your first list and tap in every one of those sentences with your EFT saying. Such as "Even though I feel I have never been really successful at anything I love and accept myself completely." And do one full tapping session around that. Next "Even though I don't think I deserve money because I never finished high school, I love and accept myself completely"

Do this for every item on your list and then even do it for the some of the reasons I've listed above that you might not think apply to you. Sometimes we don't know what exactly is holding us back and we will happily stumble on it by accident.

Subliminal Tapes

Using subliminal tapes, especially before bedtime can also be effective. It would be perfect if you have the ability to record your own voice saying I AM deserving to have all the money I desire, I AM a good person, I AM Smart Enough To Succeed At whatever I choose, etc. Download it onto an IPOD and listen as you fall asleep or simply play a tape cassette if it won't disturb another person in the room.

During Meditation

Another good time when your subconscious mind will be more open and receptive is at the end of a meditation session. After you have silenced your mind for 15 or 20 minutes take a couple of minutes at the very end to say some of those same positive sentences to yourself.

Mind Movies
You may have already heard of Mind Movies. They have just released their newest version which gives you the option of putting subliminal messages on your computer that work in the background while you continue doing your every day work in the foreground of your computer.

Type in the inspiring and deserving messages so they play in the background all day slowly being absorbed by your unconscious self.

If you would like to know more about Mind Movies, visit here.

Just playing with any these ideas for a few days can change your money mind-set drastically.

So get busy creating money in the only place it counts - your mind, and watch how quickly your outside circumstances will change.

Law of Attraction - Money Is Only An Illusion

When it comes to the law of attraction, the question I am asked most often by people is how can they use it to attract more money into their lives. Many of these people have done the reading and the exercises; some had even been pretty successful in attracting other things they’ve wanted in their lives, but for some reason the money thing seems the most elusive.

Considering what most of us think and have been taught about money, it isn’t really difficult to see where the problem might lie.

Money is the one subject most of us are bombarded with negative messages about on almost a daily basis. Any time you pick up a newspaper, watch T.V., talk to friends and family, so much of the conversation revolves around money and the supposed lack of it. The increase in milk and gas prices, increased taxes, the billions going to the war. Rise in unemployment rates, rise in bankruptcies, rise in foreclosures and personal debt. And this is on top of the silly negative messages we received as children growing up. So it not hard to see why it seems to be one of the hardest things for one to manifest.

Another thing has to do with emotion. Money invokes strong emotions. It is as strong in the people who have it, as it is in the people who do not. The Law of Attraction works stronger and faster when there is serious emotion behind it, be it in a positive or negative way.

So again, it is not surprising that someone who feels strongly about having money has tons of it while others who feel strongly about being poor experience serious lack.

Whatever the reason, it doesn’t matter. It is time to let go of the emotions and get practical.

The truth is there is no lack of money. In fact, money itself isn’t even real. It is all an illusion.

Money is merely legal tender we have collectively decided to give a value to. In truth it is nothing more than rectangular pieces of paper covered in green ink with miscellaneous numbers on it. And nowadays most of the time it isn’t even that physical.

It is said (and this varies from nation to nation) that only as little as 4% of the money that exists in the banks today exists as paper bills or coins.

That means that out of $100 only $4 of that is available in cash money! And that money is not even backed up by anything since we got rid of the Gold Standard in the 1970’s.

The rest of the “money” out there is just a bunch of numbers flying electronically over our heads from one account to another and back again.

Think about the last big purchase you have made. When you bought your house, your car, a major appliance. Did you have to go to the bank and physically take out those thousands and thousands of dollars in cash?

Of coarse not. You simply wrote down some numbers on a small piece of paper called a check and handed it over. Or you used a little plastic card that will cause you to receive another piece of paper at the end of the month with even more numbers on it.

Money is simply an idea we have all agreed to accept. Think about some of the other things we consider “valuable” simply because we collectively decided to. For instance, my father used to say to me about diamonds; “I have no idea why people would want to spend so much money on a bunch of shiny rocks.” And it was so funny to me because it is true.

Diamonds are simply shiny rocks created in abundance by nature. It is only in our decision (or more importantly the decision of the diamond mine owners) to declare that they are “worth” something. There have been times in the past that diamond miners would have millions of dollars worth of diamonds reserved in vaults that were distributed in limited amounts just to keep the value of diamonds high. But the diamonds themselves weren’t scarce. Granted they are beautiful -- but they are also, in fact… rocks.

How about the other things in our lives that change on almost a daily basis due to what we hear and read? For instance, how can a house that was worth $250,000 a few years ago increase to a worth of $750,000 when it is the exact same house? How does a stock worth $80 yesterday drop to $40 today based on a review given by a third party?

You see it is all in perception. So many of us have been brought up to believe we are undeserving or not entitled to have a lot of money. But that is just as big an illusion as money is itself.

It is time to stop being intimidated by a non-existing entity!

Do you want to know why you are entitled to have anything you want on this Earth?

Simply because you are here! You are entitled to everything that exists on this planet simply because you exist on this planet along with these things!

Nobody owns it! Nobody has more or a less of a right to it than you do. We are all equally entitled to all of the bounty that exists here - otherwise it wouldn‘t exist here at all to be experienced!

And do you know what else? You do not need to do anything to justify it - you do not need to prove it and you certainly don’t need to wait for someone else to allow you to have it.

It is yours to experience simply because it is here to be experienced and because you are here to experience it. You are did not come down to this gorgeous planet to experience lack. You came down here to create wonderful physical manifestations!

So it is time to get practical and get over those old tiresome theories about what is considered “valuable“ and if you are deserving of them.

If Debeers can decide how much diamonds are worth, and the Federal Reserve can decide what the interest rate is going to be, and Wall Street can decide how much stocks are worth, and consumers can decide how much the latest Elmo is going to be worth this Christmas, don’t you think it is time to declare what you choose to be worth?

Who’s going to do that if not you? Why should others get to make all the rules?

Of coarse you are entitled to a bunch of shiny rocks!

Absolutely you are entitled to rectangular pieces of paper stamped with green ink!

Darn right you are entitled to have a bunch of large numbers in some account that has your name on it!

Most importantly of all is your right to enjoy this physical lifetime simply because you choose to. Because it is why you came here! And don’t let anyone think they can take that right away from you. No government, bank, employer, credit card holder, spouse, parent…anyone!

Remember that money is simply an illusion. Basing your self-worth on it, is an even bigger illusion. It is time to shatter them both!

Be the entitled being you are supposed to be. Enjoy every minute here as you intended.

You are worthy!

Happy Creating!

Rich People vs. Poor People Checklist

This list was taken directly from the book The Secrets of The Millionaire Mind book by T. Harv Eker.

Some of you might remember this post from my older website - but due to everyone's recent concerns about the stock market and the intense focus on creating money I decided to republish it here now.

It is basically a cheat sheet from Mr. Eker's book (which I highly recommend by the way) that explains the difference between the way Rich people think and Poor people
think.

The book goes into much more detail, mind you. After each "title" it then goes into further explanation of how and why those differences in thinking is important.

I put this list together a few years back and made it look really pretty. I printed it out in fancy italics, printed it out on paper with a scrolled background and put it in a frame over my desk.

This way any time I had to "pivot" or redirect my thoughts about money I had this list in front of me.

Of coarse, feel free to print this list out and keep it on your wall someplace for your own inspiration, but please do not put it out anywhere else on the web because it is the exclusive property of T. Harv Eker. Thank you!

The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

One of the best books I have ever read about money and the Law of Attraction is T. Harv Ekers' book The Secrets of The Millionaire Mind.

As most of you know, I don't recommend many items in my posts unless they are truly worthwhile - which I really believe this book is.

I first took it out at the library thinking it would be a quick read to be returned in a week and instead ended up keeping the copy for myself and paying the library for the book. First of all, it unbelievably ended up being a real autographed copy by Mr. Eker himself that someone named Bob donated, but that was not the main reason I kept it.

I kept it because it was simply too good to give back.

One of my favorite things about the book is that it is one of those books where you can open the book to any page and receive an instant "kick in the butt" feeling about wanting to get out and create more money.

Basically the book lists very bluntly the different mind sets between people who have money and the people who don't. So simple, yet so profound.

I was actually so inspired by it that I created a "cheat sheet" for myself that I typed out - printed on "scroll like paper" and pinned it up above my desk in my home office, so I can look at it everyday.

I've included some of the items on the list below:

Rich Vs. Poor Cheat Sheet

Rich people believe they create their life
Poor people believe that life happens to them

Poor people complain to get attention
Rich people are too busy making money to complain

Rich people play the money game to win
Poor people play the money game to not lose

Rich people focus on opportunities
Poor people focus on obstacles

Rich people see potential growth
Poor people see potential loss

Rich people focus on rewards
Poor people focus on the risks

And this is just the first few chapters! There are over 40 more!

After each one of these quotes Mr. Eker goes into more detail about the differences in how "rich" people think as opposed to how "poor" people and the information and advice he gives is extremely enlightening and empowering.

So if you've been looking for an inspiring book that is going to "kick you in the butt" and get you moving I highly recommend this one.

Sorry, unfortunately this is one of the few I can't give away for free, but you could find it at a very reasonable price below if you are interested.

It is well worth it, I promise you. And creating your own cheat sheet is not a bad idea either. Just take the quotes that have the biggest impact on you and put them on your wall as a constant reminder.

Till Tomorrow…

See A Penny - Pick It Up!

See A Penny - Pick It Up - All Day Long - You'll have good luck.

I used to love that saying when I was younger and I guess I was always looking for the "magic" even back then. The same way that even today I can't pass up a dandelion that has turned into a "wish" or blowing on a stray eyelash.

But when it comes to picking up pennies nowadays I see it as much more than just a token of "good luck." I now see it as a direct message from Universe of the unlimited abundance that it is being delivered to me constantly.

When I see a penny on the ground I pick it up every time, regardless of how inconvenient it may be to get it. It doesn't matter if I am fully dressed ready to attend a special function or if it is peeping out of a hard-to-reach floorboard.

You see I've learned that Universe doesn't see money in actual amounts the way that we tend to. It will just as soon give us a thousand dollars as it will a penny. It doesn't judge us worthy or deserving. It simply delivers in every way possible when we request it to. Like the law of gravity, the law of attraction works the same way. Gravity doesn't care what object is thrown off a building it is still going to fall and the Law of Attraction doesn't care who or what is requested, it simply delivers based on the vibration it is receiving in regard to the request.

With that being the case, if we would like our abundance to continue to arrive in all forms, it is our job to accept the gift, be grateful for it and encourage Universe to deliver more of it. It is important for us to maintain our vibrational momentum when it comes to abundance.

Any time I find coins on the ground the first thing I say is "Thank you Universe and more of that please!" It is my personal way of acknowledging Universe's generosity as well as confirming that it should keep on delivering.

So if I find a penny I get excited. Universe is listening! Yeah - More of that please!! A couple of hours later I find a dime! I get more excited. Universe is now delivering ten-fold in as little as a couple of hours. Yes! I'm loving it - more of that please!

I go over to a girlfriend's house and she gives me a great blouse that she no longer wants but that I love! Now Universe is now granting me abundance in gifts! Thank you -- thank you! Next I look in an old jacket pocket and find $20 I forgot about from last season!

Momentum is growing, I am getting more excited and Universe is delivering faster and faster! How awesome!

But now think about what message you are sending out if you don't accept that penny? If you immediately deem it as "not enough" or not worth your time or effort to pick it up? What vibration do you think you are sending out then? If your thoughts are "What the heck is a penny going to do for me? It's worthless. That is not going to help me!"

Your vibration goes down, your energy goes down, and Universe again responds to the messages you are sending it. Not enough, worthless, this is not going to help?…oh well then …moving on…"

So the next time even the smallest gift is delivered to you, a free gift, a small prize or even a penny on the sidewalk…appreciate it…be grateful for it…and ask for more of it!

Get excited over the little things that Universe delivers, encourage it to bring you more..get in the flow of abundance and watch what happens! You will be amazed at what Universe will continue to deliver when you let your abundance muscles grow!

Law of Attraction - Create a Vision Board To Bring More Money Into Your Life

"O.K. I have asked Universe again and again for something I want. I have thought about it and envisioned it and it is no closer to showing up than the first day I asked."

Does this sound familiar to you? This is one of the most frequent complaints I hear from people who have learned, read and studied about the Law of Attraction but are having problems making it work for them personally.

It is usually pretty easy when I delve a little deeper into their situation to figure out what the problem is.

For instance, say you declare that you want to create a lot of money. You can see it in your minds eye, you may even be able to "feel" how it feels to have it (very important, by the way), and you do this for about an average of 10-20 seconds a day.

And you have done it exactly right. That is all that is required for the Universe to kick into action and start working its magic to bring it to you. However, a week later you find that you are no better off than you were before - sometimes you find your situation may even be worse.

So what is the problem? The problem is not in how or what you asked for. The Universe is totally neutral. It does not care what it delivers or to whom it brings it.

The problem lies in what you think about after you have asked for the money. While those 10 to 20 seconds are very important every day, what are you thinking about the other 14 to 16 hours you are awake?

What are you thinking if a creditor calls, when you open your mail and see the bills, when your kids want something extravagant? Do you feel a knot in your stomach. Do you say things like, "there is no way I can pay this, or that bill is outrageous, or we absolutely cannot afford that?"

You see, in having these thoughts the rest of the day Universe will again kick in to do its job. But now it will reverse its original direction of that mornings objective and now focus on the messages it is currently being given.

So what is the answer? Quite simply, is to keep your focus more often on what you do want during the day as opposed to what you do not want. You see, whichever thought gets more of the attention - wins! It is the law!

So then you may ask, "Well how am I supposed to do that? Most of my day is dealing with trying to figure out how I am going to pay for everything. Its great to dream and envision but I also have to deal with my current reality which is currently not very abundant".

This is where a Vision Board or Creation Board comes in. A Vision Board is a board or place where you put all of the things you are wanting Universe to provide to you. You simply go through magazines or the internet and find pictures of exactly what it is you are wanting. Clip them out and put them on your board.

If you can't find a picture of what you are wanting, you can type up a saying, a reminder or an affirmation. Make it fancy, print it out and put it on your board. The important part is to have it someplace where you can remind yourself constantly that your current financial state is only temporary and the things and places on that board is where you are headed.

So now your next question might be "But what if I work someplace where I can't display a board to look at all day long? or "What if I don't want the rest of the world knowing what it is that I am creating -- It is very personal to me."

To that I say - be creative! Write it down in one of those little notepads you can easily store in your pocketbook and look at it frequently. If you are a man, insert little cards into your wallet that you will see every time you open it.

Actually, one of my personal favorites is putting the board on your computer. Especially if you work in an office or do not want a large board hanging in your home for all to see.

There are great programs available that will help you create your Vision Board right on your own computer or laptop that you can glance at anytime you want.

You can add pictures to them, even music. You can create slide shows.

In truth I have found these to be the most effective. I have found that the boards I have made on the computer with these programs, where I have also inserted my favorite inspiring song or have used my own voice, stay with me all day even when I am not directly in front of the computer looking at it.

I find myself humming the song and the video replaying in my mind automatically and I find myself giving much more attention to what I do want as opposed to what I do not want quite naturally. Which of coarse in turn, brings to me what I want so much faster.

Some of these new programs even have the ability to download a mini version onto your iPod, cell phone, PDA and digital photo frames. How cool is that?! The one I most often use has a pop up balloon that displays my affirmations at a chosen time interval so it pops up and reminds me even if I am not consciously thinking about it.

So get started today! Get excited and go find the pictures of the things that you are wanting in your life! Cut and paste to make your own physical board or go make that video. Feel inspired as you know you are taking the first action towards changing your life. You will find yourself getting so caught up in it that you will not want to stop.

Watch the video or look at your board as often as possible and feel good and inspired by it! Remember the more time you spend focusing on what you do want, the faster it will come to you!

Happy Creating!
